There is no verified, complete October 2026 seed roster or official tier list for Garden Horizons. This editorial ranking compares the seeds that can be checked in third-party sources, with an emphasis on what they offer for early cash flow, repeat harvesting, and late-game value. Treat listed prices, availability, and tiers as snapshots—not confirmed live-game facts—and check the in-game shop and your current game version before spending.

How to read this tier list

This is a practical ranking, not an official game ranking. It prioritizes affordability and reported sale value alongside whether a crop produces again. A costly crop with a high ceiling can be a poor buy when you need dependable income now; a cheap seed can be useful even if its individual harvest is modest.

The evidence does not support ranking every plant in the game. A fan seed-shop table lists 19 shop entries, a March 2026 guide lists 15, a separate database displays 31 seeds, and a dynamic index says there are 68 plants. Those counts appear to use different dates or definitions, and do not establish the current complete roster. The rankings below therefore cover a qualified subset rather than claiming to rank all seeds.

Sale figures below are third-party database snapshots, not independently verified current values. The database describes Lush value as three times base value; a separate guide updated March 1, 2026 also advises waiting for a Lush harvest for up to 3× base value. Harvest condition matters: do not treat a Lush figure as a guaranteed ordinary sale. See the Garden Horizons Wiki and Database for the database figures and the March 2026 fan guide for its Lush and shop-refresh claims.

Best seeds by player stage

Early game: Carrot is the low-cost foothold

Carrot is the clearest starter candidate in the figures available. The fan database lists a 20-Shilling purchase price, an average sale value of 30, and a Lush value of 90. That small entry cost limits the cash tied up in each seed, making it more practical for building an early bankroll than a six- or seven-figure purchase. These are database snapshots, not a guarantee of current shop stock or returns.

Progression: consider repeat harvests, not just one sale

Corn and Strawberry are identified as repeat-harvest crops in the March 2026 fan guide, and Tomato also appears in that guide’s B tier. Repeat production can make a crop useful over time, but the available sources do not provide a consistent, current set of prices, yields, and time-to-harvest figures for a fair numeric comparison. Treat them as progression candidates, not proven winners by profit per minute or plot.

Beetroot illustrates why tier labels should not be mistaken for consensus. The database assigns it B and reports a 2,500-Shilling cost, 3,750 average sale, and 11,250 Lush value; the March 8, 2026 tier article places it in A. The database figures suggest a comparatively modest entry cost, but without a verified harvest schedule or current values they cannot settle which rating is more useful in play.

Late game: Cabbage and Cherry have competing claims

The database ranks Cherry S and reports a 1,000,000-Shilling price, 8,000 average sale, and 24,000 Lush value. Those listed sale values are far below its listed purchase price, so the database figures alone do not justify calling Cherry a profitable purchase. The March 8, 2026 tier article instead places Cabbage in S, alongside Glow Vein and Cherry Blossom. The database reports Cabbage at 150,000 Shillings, with a 60,000 average sale and 180,000 Lush value. These sources disagree both in tier placement and crop names; Cherry and Cherry Blossom should not be assumed to be the same seed.

Cabbage has the stronger reported single-sale figures in the database snapshot, but that comparison is not a full profitability calculation: the sources do not establish a common harvest count, growing time, or repeat-yield horizon. Consider it a late-game ceiling candidate, not a guaranteed best investment.

Reported seed values at a glance

Seed Reported price Average sale Lush sale What the evidence supports
Carrot 20 Shillings 30 90 Database labels D; low-cost starter candidate.
Beetroot 2,500 Shillings 3,750 11,250 Database labels B; March tier article labels A.
Cabbage 150,000 Shillings 60,000 180,000 Database labels A; March tier article labels S.
Cherry 1,000,000 Shillings 8,000 24,000 Database labels S; sale figures do not establish profitability.

Prices and values are from the Garden Horizons Wiki and Database snapshot accessed October 8, 2026; its publication date is unavailable. The tier labels reflect that database unless another source is named in the final column. Lush figures use the database’s stated 3×-base relationship. The table compares listed single-sale figures only; it does not account for repeat harvests, growing time, weather, mutations, or plot use.

Shop seeds and other plants are not the same roster

The community seed-shop table lists 19 shop seeds, including Carrot, Corn, Onion, Strawberry, Mushroom, Beetroot, Tomato, Apple, Rose, Wheat, Banana, Plum, Potato, Cabbage, Cherry, Bamboo, Mango, Watermelon, and Pineapple. It marks those entries obtainable when crawled, but the page was crawled months before this October 2026 snapshot and is not an official live inventory. Its prices include Carrot at 20 Shillings, Corn at 100, Beetroot at 2,500, Cabbage at 150,000, Cherry at 1,000,000, Mango at 10,000,000, and Pineapple at 15,000,000.

Other pages include crops such as Glow Vein, Cherry Blossom, Fire Fern, Pomegranate, and Starbloom in tier lists, while the dynamic index counts 68 plants. The material available does not establish which of these are standard shop seeds, limited or event crops, pack contents, or currently obtainable. Check the game itself before planning around an item that may not be ordinary shop stock.

What can change a seed’s realized value?

Harvest condition

A Lush harvest can substantially change the reported sale value: fan sources describe an increase of up to 3× base value. Compare crops at the same harvest condition, and do not budget a Lush return as though every harvest will qualify.

Weather, mutations, and equipment

The March 8 tier article says its ratings weigh mutation ceiling and weather-event performance as well as base value, repeat harvests, and entry cost. The March 1 guide also discusses weather and mutation mechanics and lists gear such as Watering Cans and Sprinklers. Neither source supplies a consistent set of measured outcomes that can be used to quantify those advantages across every crop. A tier affected by event or mutation potential is therefore a situational judgment, not a guarantee of everyday earnings.

Shop timing

The March 1 fan guide says the seed shop refreshes every five minutes. That interval is not established by an official source and may have changed; use the in-game shop’s current behavior rather than relying on the guide’s timing when waiting for a seed.

Practical buying priorities

  1. Protect early cash. Start with an affordable seed such as Carrot rather than tying up scarce Shillings in an expensive seed based only on its rarity or tier.
  2. Value repeat harvests over a single headline sale. Corn and Strawberry are described as repeat-harvest crops by the March guide, but compare their actual in-game yield and timing before committing plot space.
  3. Use Lush and event upside as a bonus. A high-condition or mutation-focused ranking can suit players optimizing for a ceiling, but it is not the same as stable routine income.
  4. Verify high-cost purchases in your version. Check current price, availability, harvest behavior, and sale value in-game before investing heavily; third-party pages do not establish live October 2026 balance.

Why the tier lists disagree

The database is a 31-seed subset with its own tier labels and sale figures; the March 8, 2026 article is a selective editorial ranking that says it weighs value ceiling, repeat harvests, entry cost, mutation potential, and weather events. It puts Cabbage, Glow Vein, and Cherry Blossom in S; Beetroot, Fire Fern, Pomegranate, and Starbloom in A; and Corn, Strawberry, and Tomato in B. Its author describes the aim as “a ranking you can use today, not a theoretical best-case guide.” That is the author’s stated framing, not an official evaluation or a universal player result.

Because the lists use different crop coverage and criteria—and because their claims are not a live, controlled comparison—there is no defensible single canonical ordering for every seed. Use the low-cost and repeat-harvest guidance for progression, and treat high-ceiling tiers as conditional on your current shop, crop behavior, and willingness to wait for favorable harvest conditions.
