What Japan adds to Gear.Club Unlimited 3
Japan is a new setting for the series, alongside the French Mediterranean coast. Nacon’s official description frames the story around creating and growing a club in Japan, engaging with local car culture, challenging rivals and expanding the club’s influence. Xbox’s listing adds that victories and choices shape the player’s journey. Xbox’s game listing and the PlayStation Store listing describe the game’s premise and settings.
Nacon summed up the contrast in its Gamescom 2025 press release: “This new installment features two contrasting environments: the sunny Mediterranean coast and the twisting, mountainous roads of Japan.” Nacon’s announcement presents this as a corporate statement, not a quote from a named individual.

Highway races through traffic
The publisher and storefront descriptions introduce highway racing in both France and Japan. Players race through traffic, anticipate other vehicles, change lanes and pass rivals while managing speed and handling. These are official feature descriptions, not independent assessments of how the mode plays.

Races, time attacks and customization
Both storefront descriptions also mention conventional races and time attacks. They advertise more than 40 cars and mechanical and bodywork customization, including paint and rim changes, plus customizable garages. The listings describe 50 tracks or courses across France and Japan. These are publisher and store-page specifications, not independently verified counts.

Why the official release dates do not line up
The reviewed official pages show different dates rather than one reconciled launch schedule. The Xbox US page displays October 8, 2026; the US PlayStation Store displays October 7, 2026 at 03:00 PM UTC; and Nacon’s product page displayed February 19, 2026. Nacon’s Gamescom 2025 release had described a 2026 launch for PC, PlayStation and Xbox Series X|S. Because the product-page date conflicts with the storefront dates, it should not be treated as definitive for those editions.
The PlayStation Store time is listed in UTC and, on the page reviewed at 2026-10-07 03:41:23 UTC, was still later that day. Dates can vary by platform and territory; check the live store page for the edition and region you intend to use before relying on a date.
