As of September 30, 2026, the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB has not been shown to be discontinued or subject to a confirmed production halt. Availability is uneven: some retailer listings remain active, while NVIDIA’s marketplace marks several partner cards out of stock. Treat “still in stock” as seller- and moment-specific, not as a guarantee of broad supply.
What the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB is
The 16GB RTX 5060 Ti is a Blackwell-generation graphics card with 4,608 CUDA cores, fifth-generation Tensor Cores, fourth-generation ray-tracing cores and 16GB of GDDR7 memory. NVIDIA also sells an 8GB version, so listings must be checked carefully before purchase.
NVIDIA announced April 16, 2025 availability at a launch price of $429 for the 16GB model. The 8GB card launched at $379. Partner boards were expected from ASUS, Colorful, Gainward, GALAX, GIGABYTE, INNO3D, KFA2, MSI, Palit, PNY and ZOTAC.
Where stock and prices stood in September 2026
Recent listings show that cards can still be found, but often at substantial premiums and with changing seller availability.

The $779.99 and $788.99 listings were roughly $351 and $360 above NVIDIA’s $429 launch reference, respectively. A live product page does not necessarily mean the retailer itself has inventory; marketplace sellers, delayed shipping dates and resale listings can all appear as active offers.
Is the 16GB model discontinued?
There is no confirmed evidence here that NVIDIA has discontinued the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB. NVIDIA’s marketplace displayed ASUS PRIME and MSI 16GB cards as “Out of Stock” at crawl time, but an out-of-stock label is not a production announcement.

The production-pause claim remains a rumor. No direct NVIDIA or board-partner statement confirming a pause is established in the available evidence. The observable pattern—some cards unavailable, other listings priced high—fits uneven allocation or seller-level shortages as well as any manufacturing change.
How to interpret “in stock” before you buy
- Check the seller: distinguish the retailer’s own inventory from a marketplace listing.
- Verify the exact model: confirm it says 16GB, not RTX 5060 Ti 8GB or RTX 5060.
- Check the delivery date: an order accepted without a near-term shipping date may not represent physical stock.
- Review warranty coverage: confirm the board partner, seller, region and who handles returns.
- Inspect the return policy: expensive marketplace purchases need a clear return window.
What to compare between available cards
If more than one card is available, compare the delivered total rather than the headline price. Then check the following differences:

- Value: measure the price against the $429 launch reference and account for shipping and taxes.
- Physical fit: compare cooler length, thickness and your case’s clearance.
- Power requirements: verify the card’s connector and your power supply before ordering.
- Factory settings: compare the advertised boost clock, recognizing that cooler and noise behavior vary by model.
- Support: favor a seller and board partner with usable regional warranty and returns.
Should you buy now or wait?
Buying now can make sense if you need a 16GB card immediately and find a new, verifiable unit from a reputable seller with a firm shipping date and acceptable warranty. Prices near $638–$789 represent a large premium over launch pricing, so they are difficult to justify solely because a listing says “in stock.”
Waiting is the safer choice if your budget is close to the original $429 target, if the only offers are marketplace resales, or if delivery and warranty details are unclear. A future NVIDIA or board-partner statement could clarify whether production changed; until then, availability should be judged listing by listing rather than by the pause rumor.
