When did Lantern Rite start in Version 5.3?
Version 5.3, “Incandescent Ode of Resurrection,” launched January 1, 2025, according to HoYoverse Studio Technical Director Zhenzhong Yi’s December 20, 2024 overview on PlayStation Blog. That date is the version release date, not a confirmed Lantern Rite start date.
The official Version 5.3 Events Preview – Phase II says the annual Lantern Rite is about to begin, but the accessible announcement does not provide usable start or end timestamps. Its exact schedule and server-time cutoffs therefore cannot be confirmed from these announcements.
What Lantern Rite rewards were announced?
- One free four-star Liyue character: Players could complete special festival requirements to invite one character, with Lan Yan among the choices.
- Xiangling’s “New Year’s Cheer” outfit: The overview says accumulating Festive Fever could unlock the outfit. It does not state the required threshold.
The overview does not give a complete reward inventory or exact Festive Fever thresholds, so those details should not be inferred from its reward highlights.

What activities were part of “Springtime Charms”?
The overview names three Lantern Rite activities. It links participation to Festive Fever and event rewards, but does not provide a full activity schedule or reward breakdown.
