Version 5.3’s Arlecchino and Clorinde banners ran at the same time from January 21 to February 11, 2025, and have ended. For that historical choice, Arlecchino was the Pyro damage dealer associated with Vaporize and Melt teams; Clorinde was the fast-rotation Electro option with a range of team compositions. The better pick depended on your roster and which character’s playstyle you preferred—not on treating a patch-specific strength comparison as a current ranking.
Arlecchino or Clorinde: the short answer
In its Version 5.3 comparison, Icy Veins judged Arlecchino stronger overall, while noting that Mavuika’s arrival had reduced Arlecchino’s appeal for veteran players seeking peak performance. That is a historical editorial assessment, not evidence of either character’s current standing.
- Choose Arlecchino if you want a Pyro damage dealer and are interested in her Vaporize or Melt team options.
- Choose Clorinde if you want an Electro damage dealer with fast rotations or need that role in your roster.
- If neither is a clear favorite, consider which character fits teams you can actually build. Icy Veins’ advice is to prioritize the character you enjoy.

Consider the banner companions
Both limited banners shared the same four-star lineup: Lan Yan, Chevreuse, and Rosaria. Icy Veins highlighted Chevreuse as potentially useful for either character, while describing Rosaria as more valuable alongside Arlecchino than Clorinde. These are team-fit considerations, not a guarantee that a four-star will appear in a particular wish.

The guide also said Lan Yan could be obtained for free during the Lantern Rite event and that her kit was complete at C0. That was event-specific advice for the 5.3 period; it does not mean the event or free acquisition is available now.

When the banners ran
Arlecchino and Clorinde were concurrent Version 5.3 Phase II reruns, rather than sequential banners. HoYoDex’s Arlecchino wish history and Game8’s Version 5.3 release and details reference list the period as January 21 through February 11, 2025. The banners are no longer available.
