How to redeem a code safely
- Open HoYoverse’s official Genshin Impact gift redemption page and sign in to the account associated with the character receiving the reward.
- Enter the code and submit it. Follow the page’s prompts to select the relevant server and character if requested.
- After a successful redemption, collect the reward from the in-game mail. HoYoverse says mail typically expires after 30 days; see its gift-code redemption help article, updated October 3, 2025.
For an invalid-code or already-used error, HoYoverse advises using codes from official channels such as HoYoLAB, YouTube, and Twitch. Avoid entering account credentials on unofficial code sites; the relevant guidance is in HoYoverse’s help article about redemption errors.

Version 5.4 maintenance compensation was separate
HoYoverse’s February 10, 2025 Version 5.4 maintenance preview announced 300 Primogems in maintenance compensation for accounts meeting its stated Adventure Rank eligibility. The notice said compensation was calculated at 60 Primogems per hour of downtime, would need to be claimed before Version 5.4 ended, and that the mail would expire after 30 days. This was official maintenance compensation, not a code in the community lists above.

The February posts provide dated records of code strings and claimed rewards, but do not establish each code’s precise expiry or whether any remains redeemable. Do not treat a code’s appearance in a 2025 post as proof it works now. For current codes, check HoYoverse’s official channels; its help page describes promotional codes from livestreams and collaborations as one way to earn Primogems: How can I get more Primogems?
