May 2025 Genshin Impact codes are historical and should not be treated as redeemable now. The available record confirms that a HoYoverse event code expired on May 21, 2025, but does not show its code string. A separate HoYoLAB community post listed ZT5RJ4AX4WYV and claimed it gave 60 Primogems; that post does not establish that the code was official or valid.
What the May 2025 code evidence shows
| Date and source | Code information | Reward and expiry | What can be concluded |
|---|---|---|---|
| May 1, 2025, HoYoLAB community post by Gavnyx (HoYoLAB post) | ZT5RJ4AX4WYV |
The post claims 60 Primogems; no expiry is established. | This is a community-listed code, not confirmed here as official or valid. |
| May 13, 2025, HoYoverse event announcement (official announcement) | The surfaced announcement excerpt does not include the code string. | The announcement lists 30 Primogems, 3 Hero’s Wit, and 20,000 Mora. The code expired May 21, 2025 at 23:59 (UTC+8). | The expiry and rewards are documented, but the code itself cannot be safely supplied. |
These entries do not amount to a complete authoritative list of May codes, nor do they establish which codes worked on each day of the month. The official event page’s omitted code string should not be guessed from third-party listings.

How to judge a claimed code
Check the source, date, expiry and time zone, stated reward, and whether the announcement actually displays the code. An official HoYoverse announcement is stronger evidence than a community post, but even an official announcement only verifies the specific details it states. For the May 13 event, the code string is not present in the available excerpt; for the May 1 post, official validity is not established.

HoYoverse’s Help Center instructions, updated October 3, 2025, say to visit its official redemption website, enter the code, and claim successful rewards from in-game mail. The help article says mail typically expires after 30 days, so collect a reward promptly after successful redemption. These are current process instructions, not proof that a historical May 2025 code remains valid.

Where official codes are announced
HoYoverse identifies livestreams and collaborations as sources of promotional codes and directs players to the HoYoLAB events page for current opportunities. A Version 5.5 preview also said its March 14, 2025 special program would include codes, but that does not identify any May code. The redemption page currently serves later content rather than a historical archive of May 2025 promotions.
