Genshin Impact Fischl Build Guide for Version 6.7: Best Weapons, Artifacts, Teams, and Rotations

Fischl remains one of Genshin Impact’s best off-field Electro DPS characters in Version 6.7. This guide covers Golden Troupe versus Celestial Gift, weapons, stats, ER, Hexerei buffs, C6, teams, and rotations.

Updated for Genshin Impact Version 6.7 / Luna VIII on August 9, 2026. Version 7.0 is scheduled for August 12, so review this guide after the patch goes live; current patch timing is covered by GameSpot’s update schedule.

For most accounts, Fischl is best built as an off-field Electro sub-DPS and battery. Start with 4-piece Golden Troupe, an ATK% Sands, Electro DMG Goblet, and CRIT Circlet, then choose a bow according to your goal: Polar Star or another strong five-star bow for Fischl’s personal damage, Elegy for the End for team support, The Stringless or Alley Hunter for damage-focused four-star builds, and Favonius Warbow when Energy Recharge is the problem. Her talent priority is Elemental Skill > Elemental Burst >> Normal Attack.

Hexerei changes the best way to use modern Fischl. After completing Witch’s Homework and activating Hexerei: Secret Rite with at least two Hexerei characters, Oz can provide temporary ATK or Elemental Mastery buffs. Celestial Gift becomes a strong support set in those teams, while Golden Troupe remains the safest general-purpose personal-DPS option.

What changed for Fischl in Version 6.7?

Older Fischl guides usually stop at Golden Troupe, Aggravate, and the familiar Skill/Burst rotation. That advice is still useful, but it is incomplete after the addition of Hexerei systems and newer artifacts. Fischl now has a meaningful support role in Hexerei reaction teams without losing her traditional off-field damage identity.

Unlocking Fischl’s Hexerei enhancement

Fischl’s Witch’s Eve Rite effects are not automatically available just because you own her. The general unlock path is:

#1 Best Overall
Alter Genshin Impact: Fischl 1:7 Scale PVC Figure, Multicolor
  • Painted and finished product
  • Scale: 1/7
  • (Size) Fishle Height: Approx. 8.7 inches (220 mm), Total Length: Approx. 11.4 inches (290 mm) (including posts)
  • Materials: PVC & ABS
  1. Obtain Fischl and raise her to at least Level 70.
  2. Complete the prerequisite Witch’s Homework content.
  3. Open the Little Witch’s Dictionary or the related Witch’s Homework quest interface.
  4. Complete Fischl’s quest, Witch’s Homework: Of the Unexpected.
  5. Put at least two Hexerei characters in the party to activate Hexerei: Secret Rite.

Menu labels can vary by localization. If the exact wording is different in your client, look for Witch’s Homework in the quest or gadget interface rather than searching for one specific translated label. The unlock requirements are summarized by Game8’s Witch’s Homework guide and the Witch’s Homework reference page.

What Hexerei: Secret Rite does

With Oz deployed and the Hexerei party condition active, reaction triggers grant temporary buffs to Fischl and the current active character:

Reaction triggered Base effect Duration
Overload 22.5% ATK 10 seconds
Electro-Charged or Lunar-Charged 90 Elemental Mastery 10 seconds

The ATK and EM effects can coexist if the team triggers both reaction categories. When the active character changes, the buff transfers to the new active character. This makes Fischl especially useful in teams where the on-field carry repeatedly drives Electro-related reactions.

There is an important snapshot qualification: an Oz that is already deployed does not automatically recalculate its damage using the newly gained ATK or EM. If Oz’s damage needs the new stats, resummon or reposition Oz at a useful point in the rotation. The current passive wording and C6 interaction are documented on the Phantasmal Nocturne reference page.

What C6 adds to the modern effect

Fischl’s C6 still makes Oz dramatically better. When Oz performs a C6 coordinated attack, the active Witch’s Eve Rite ATK or EM effect is increased by 100% for 10 seconds. In practical terms, the active enhanced window is:

  • 45% ATK instead of 22.5% ATK after an Overload-based effect.
  • 180 EM instead of 90 EM after an Electro-Charged or Lunar-Charged effect.

This is not a permanent unconditional doubling from the beginning of every rotation. The larger value depends on the C6 coordinated attack and lasts for a limited window. C6 therefore has exceptional value with Normal-Attack drivers such as Kokomi, Sucrose, Keqing, Ayato, and other characters whose attack strings continue while Oz is active.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Fischl’s role and why Oz is so strong

Fischl normally spends only a few seconds on the field. She summons Oz, uses her other setup action if needed, and then lets the raven attack while the team’s main DPS takes over. This gives her four overlapping jobs:

  • Off-field Electro DPS: Oz attacks approximately once per second and contributes a large share of Fischl’s damage.
  • Electro battery: Oz has roughly a two-thirds chance to generate one Electro particle when hitting an enemy, helping Fischl and other Electro characters maintain their Bursts.
  • Reaction enabler: Oz applies Electro frequently enough to support Quicken, Electro-Charged, Overload, Superconduct, and related reactions.
  • C6 Normal-Attack support: at C6, Oz performs coordinated attacks when the active character uses Normal Attacks.

She is particularly effective in single-target content because a single enemy gives Oz a reliable target and lets Fischl’s frequent attacks focus their damage. In multi-target encounters, she may need Anemo grouping, Beidou, or another source of area damage to compensate for her more single-target-oriented output.

How Nightrider and Midnight Phantasmagoria work

Talent Practical function Important detail
Nightrider — Elemental Skill Summons Oz at the target location and deals initial AoE Electro damage Has a 25-second cooldown; this is the talent that governs Oz’s Skill damage
Midnight Phantasmagoria — Elemental Burst Transforms Fischl briefly, then resummons Oz at the ending location Has a 15-second cooldown and costs 60 Energy; the transformation can be canceled early
A4 passive Adds Electro damage when the active character triggers an Electro-related reaction while Oz is present Has a 0.5-second trigger cooldown, but no internal cooldown on its Electro application
C6 Adds coordinated Electro attacks when the active character performs Normal Attacks Does not activate from every kind of attack animation

Oz’s damage uses Fischl’s Elemental Skill talent level regardless of whether Oz was summoned by Nightrider or by Midnight Phantasmagoria. That is why Skill is the first talent to level even when you use Burst to extend Oz’s uptime.

Fischl’s A4 passive is easy to misunderstand. The currently active character must trigger the Electro-related reaction while Oz is deployed. A reaction caused by an off-field teammate does not automatically activate A4. The passive also targets the nearest valid entity, so it can occasionally hit a Dendro Core rather than the enemy you intended.

Best Fischl builds by role

1. General off-field DPS Fischl

This is the default build for most accounts and works in Aggravate, Electro-Charged, Overload, Overvape, and mixed reaction teams:

  • Weapon: Polar Star or another high-quality five-star bow; The Stringless, Alley Hunter, or Favonius Warbow are practical four-star alternatives.
  • Artifacts: 4-piece Golden Troupe.
  • Main stats: ATK% / Electro DMG / CRIT.
  • Talents: Skill first, Burst second, Normal Attack last.
  • Goal: keep Oz active while maximizing direct Skill damage and reaction-enabled A4 damage.

2. Hexerei support Fischl

Use this version when Fischl is contributing team buffs as much as personal damage:

  • Weapon: Elegy for the End for team damage, or Favonius Warbow for reliable Energy Recharge.
  • Artifacts: 4-piece Celestial Gift if Witch’s Homework and Hexerei: Secret Rite are active.
  • Stats: ATK% / Electro DMG / CRIT remains the default; add enough ER to use Burst on the intended schedule.
  • Team: at least two Hexerei characters, with reactions that activate the ATK or EM effect.

Celestial Gift is not automatically Fischl’s best set. If Fischl’s personal damage is a major part of the team’s output, Golden Troupe can produce more total damage than exchanging her Skill bonus for a team Elemental DMG buff. Also check whether another teammate, such as Nicole, Durin, Mona, or Sucrose, is a stronger holder for the team.

3. Aggravate Fischl

Aggravate is one of Fischl’s best traditional team archetypes because her direct Oz damage and A4 damage benefit from Quicken-related reactions. ATK% and EM Sands are usually close:

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  • Choose ATK% Sands when the team supplies EM or the weapon is already EM-heavy.
  • Choose EM Sands when Fischl has meaningful reaction ownership, strong ATK buffs, or substantially better EM substats.
  • Keep CRIT highly valued. Aggravate does not turn Fischl into a full-EM trigger; her direct Oz and A4 damage remain important.

Do not replace CRIT and ATK with full EM simply because Dendro is present. The better Sands depends on the weapon, buffs, substats, and how often Fischl’s attacks receive the reaction bonus.

4. Electro-Charged Fischl

Use ATK% Sands by default. Electro-Charged reaction ownership can shift between characters, and Fischl should not automatically be built with EM just because the team contains Hydro. EM becomes a stronger consideration only when the rotation consistently assigns reactions to Fischl.

5. Overload Fischl

ATK% Sands is also the normal starting point for Overload. Fischl supplies steady Electro application and personal Skill damage, while a Pyro carry or support often owns many of the Overload reactions. In small-enemy content, account for knockback: theoretical reaction damage is less useful if enemies are repeatedly thrown outside the carry’s range.

6. Hyperbloom-support Fischl

Fischl can contribute Electro damage in Hyperbloom and Quickbloom, but she should usually be treated as supplemental damage rather than the primary Dendro Core trigger. Oz does not consistently target Dendro Cores, which is helpful when Kuki Shinobu or another Electro character is intended to own Hyperbloom. Sucrose can also Swirl Fischl’s Electro and trigger Hyperbloom indirectly.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

7. On-field or physical Fischl

On-field Fischl is a specialized option rather than the general recommendation. Raise Normal Attack alongside Skill, and choose the Goblet according to the build:

  • Electro-focused on-field Fischl: Electro DMG Goblet.
  • Physical Fischl: Physical DMG Goblet and a physical-oriented set such as 4-piece Pale Flame.

C1 is much more relevant here because it adds coordinated attacks to Fischl’s Normal Attacks when Oz is not present. For a standard off-field Fischl, C1 is comparatively low value.

Artifact sets: Golden Troupe, Celestial Gift, and Rising Winds

4-piece Golden Troupe — safest personal-DPS default

Golden Troupe gives:

  • 2-piece: 20% Elemental Skill DMG.
  • 4-piece: another 25% Elemental Skill DMG, plus an additional 25% while the wearer is off-field.

That amounts to a 70% off-field Elemental Skill DMG bonus, making it a natural match for Oz. Use Golden Troupe when Fischl’s personal damage matters, when the team is not built around Celestial Gift, when she is used outside Hexerei teams, or when you already have a strong set. It is effective across Aggravate, Electro-Charged, Overload, and general reaction teams. The set bonuses are listed on the Golden Troupe reference page.

4-piece Celestial Gift — modern Hexerei support option

Celestial Gift gives:

  • 2-piece: 20% Energy Recharge.
  • 4-piece: after the wearer uses an Elemental Skill, nearby party members gain 20% Elemental DMG Bonus corresponding to the wearer’s element for 20 seconds.
  • With Hexerei: Secret Rite active: the upgraded effect provides 40% Elemental DMG Bonus corresponding to the wearer’s element and the current active character’s element.

Fischl can activate Celestial Gift and then leave the field. It is especially attractive when:

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  • Witch’s Homework is complete.
  • At least two Hexerei characters are in the party.
  • The team benefits more from Elemental DMG Bonus than from Fischl’s personal Skill damage.
  • Fischl needs the extra ER from the two-piece bonus.
  • No other teammate is a better Celestial Gift carrier.

The 40% Hexerei version is conditional, not the normal four-piece effect. Celestial Gift’s effect also does not simply stack with another copy of the same set. See the Celestial Gift guide and the HoYoLAB reference for the set’s current description.

A Day Carved From Rising Winds — efficient modern alternative

A Day Carved From Rising Winds provides:

  • 2-piece: 18% ATK.
  • 4-piece: after an attack, Skill, or Burst hits an opponent, 25% ATK for six seconds.
  • After Witch’s Homework is complete: the upgraded effect also provides 20% CRIT Rate.

It works off-field and can approach Golden Troupe for Fischl’s personal damage, particularly when you are already farming its domain for other Hexerei characters. It is best viewed as an account-efficiency option, not an unconditional replacement for a well-rolled Golden Troupe set. Its bonuses are summarized by Icy Veins’ artifact reference.

Other usable sets

  • 4-piece Tenacity of the Millelith: a team-support build. Oz can maintain strong uptime on the ATK buff, provided he stays close enough to enemies. Use it when another character is not a better holder and team damage matters more than Fischl’s personal damage.
  • 2-piece combinations: mix Golden Troupe, Thundering Fury, ATK%, EM, or Physical DMG sets when the substats are much better than your four-piece options.
  • 4-piece Thundersoother: potentially strong while Electro aura uptime is reliable, but conditional.
  • 4-piece Gilded Dreams: usable in Aggravate, though generally not worth farming specifically for Fischl.
  • 4-piece Pale Flame: for deliberate on-field physical Fischl only.

Artifact stats and Energy Recharge

Main stats

Artifact slot Standard off-field Fischl Situational alternative
Sands ATK% EM in Aggravate or a reaction-specific build
Goblet Electro DMG Bonus Physical DMG Bonus for physical Fischl
Circlet CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG Choose the type that balances your final ratio

Prioritize enough ER to meet the rotation, then CRIT, followed by ATK%. Add EM when Aggravate or genuine reaction ownership makes it valuable. In non-Aggravate Electro-Charged and Overload teams, ATK% is generally more reliable than EM because Fischl should not be assumed to own the transformative reaction.

How much ER does Fischl need?

There is no universal Fischl ER requirement. Her needs change with the number of Electro characters, rotation length, particle funneling, weapon, enemy particle drops, constellation, and special combat rules such as Stygian Onslaught.

Use these as starting ranges rather than fixed requirements:

Situation Approximate starting range
Double Electro, Burst about every 40 seconds About 100% ER
Solo Electro, Burst about every 40 seconds About 120–140% at C0; 110–125% at C6
Solo Electro, tighter rotations around 25 seconds About 130–170% at C0; 120–155% at C6
Unusual challenge modes or especially energy-hungry teams Potentially 100–200% depending on the rules and rotation

Test Fischl in the actual team: if Burst is required to resummon Oz but is unavailable when the rotation reaches her, add ER, use Favonius Warbow, funnel particles more carefully, or lengthen the rotation. If Burst is consistently ready early, trade excess ER for CRIT or ATK.

Best weapons by goal

There is no universal Fischl weapon ranking. A bow that maximizes Oz’s personal damage may be worse for total team damage than Elegy, and a theoretically strong damage bow may be less useful than Favonius if Fischl misses her Burst.

Personal-damage bows

Bow Why it works Qualification
Polar Star CRIT Rate plus Skill and Burst bonuses; excellent for Oz damage For maximum value, pay attention to the Normal-Attack stack before summoning Oz because Oz damage can snapshot relevant stats
The Daybreak Chronicles Strong Skill DMG and a favorable modern Hexerei interaction It is Venti’s signature weapon and is not worth pulling solely for Fischl unless you also want the weapon for other reasons
Aqua Simulacra Powerful CRIT stat and competitive damage passive Value varies with distance from enemies and the rest of the team
Hunter’s Path Strong CRIT value and useful reaction-oriented performance Particularly attractive in Aggravate, depending on the build
The First Great Magic High-stat CRIT option with a competitive passive Performance depends on team elements and ATK buffs
Skyward Harp Reliable general-purpose stat stick with CRIT value Often competitive, but not automatically the best in every team

The Daybreak Chronicles data and current weapon comparisons from KQM and Mobalytics support treating these as goal- and team-dependent options rather than a single permanent BiS answer.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Four-star damage and accessible options

Bow Best use
The Stringless Excellent in Quicken and Aggravate because EM and Skill/Burst DMG both help. It is less valuable when Fischl has little reaction ownership and already has enough EM.
Alley Hunter Strong off-field personal damage after its stacks are established. Maintaining its value can be awkward in content that forces Fischl onto the field often.
Prototype Crescent An accessible ATK-oriented option when its passive can be activated before summoning Oz.
Song of Stillness Another accessible ATK-oriented choice; its passive conditions can be impractical in some rotations.
Fading Twilight Useful ER and damage option if you obtained this event-exclusive bow previously.

For Crescent, Song of Stillness, and similar passive-dependent bows, activate the condition before summoning Oz when the effect needs to influence Oz’s snapshot. If you do not have a five-star bow or The Stringless, use the best high-stat or passive-compatible bow already on your account rather than delaying Fischl’s investment.

Support and Energy Recharge bows

  • Elegy for the End: the best support-oriented choice when team buffs and ER matter more than Fischl’s personal damage. Its passive may not activate in every rotation, so do not assume its full value if the team cannot trigger it consistently.
  • Favonius Warbow: the best practical comfort option when Fischl or her teammates miss Burst requirements. Build enough CRIT Rate to trigger its passive reliably.
  • The Stringless: a damage-first alternative when ER is already sufficient and the team produces reactions.
  • Alley Hunter: a personal-damage alternative when its off-field stacks can be maintained.

The current high-level weapon and team context is available in Mobalytics’ Fischl guide; detailed mechanics and conditional comparisons are covered by KQM.

Talent priority and leveling plan

Standard off-field Fischl

  1. Elemental Skill: highest priority because Oz’s damage is governed by this talent whether Oz was summoned by Skill or Burst.
  2. Elemental Burst: level second. Its transformation hit is less important than Oz’s attacks, but the Burst remains valuable for resummoning Oz and extending uptime.
  3. Normal Attack: last for a normal off-field build.

On-field or physical Fischl

Raise Normal Attack alongside Skill because Fischl’s own attack string becomes a substantial part of the build. Use an Electro Goblet for Electro-focused on-field play and a Physical DMG Goblet only for a deliberately physical setup. The KQM quick guide provides the concise talent and role summary, while its detailed guide explains the underlying mechanics.

Fischl must reach Level 70 for the Witch’s Homework unlock path described above. For ascension and talent-material planning, use the current Fischl material table.

Best Fischl teams in Version 6.7

Team rankings are patch-sensitive, especially with Hexerei and Nod-Krai characters. The following groups distinguish Fischl’s strongest current uses from older teams that remain fully functional.

1. Hexerei Overload

Current examples:

  • Arlecchino / Fischl / Chevreuse / Nicole
  • Arlecchino / Fischl / Chevreuse / Durin
  • Varesa / Fischl / Nicole / Durin
  • Clorinde / Fischl / Chevreuse / Durin
  • Klee / Fischl / Chevreuse / another Pyro or Electro Hexerei unit

The usual structure is an on-field Pyro or Electro DPS, Fischl, and two characters chosen from the available Pyro/Electro Hexerei or Overload-support pool. Fischl supplies off-field damage, Electro application, particles, and the temporary Hexerei ATK effect after Overload occurs.

For a representative rotation, apply the initial aura with the main DPS or support, summon Oz with Fischl’s Skill or Burst, trigger Overload, activate Chevreuse or the other support effects, and return to the main carry. A specific Arlecchino sequence is Arlecchino Skill → Nicole Skill/Burst → Fischl Skill/Burst → Chevreuse Hold Skill/Burst → Arlecchino’s combo. If the Hexerei buff activates after Oz is already present, resummon or reposition Oz when the rotation allows and the snapshot matters.

2. Quicken and Aggravate

Examples:

  • Keqing / Fischl / Kazuha / Kirara
  • Keqing / Fischl / Nahida / Zhongli
  • Tighnari / Fischl / Yae Miko / Zhongli
  • Alhaitham / Fischl / Yaoyao / Yae Miko
  • Tighnari / Fischl / Kazuha / Kuki Shinobu

The on-field Electro character repeatedly triggers Aggravate while Fischl supplies Oz damage and frequent A4 opportunities. Anemo characters such as Kazuha or Sucrose can provide Viridescent Venerer resistance reduction and elemental buffs, but the setup is not equally easy in every Dendro team. Nahida’s strong Dendro application can make it difficult to Swirl Electro consistently, so do not assume that every Nahida–Fischl–Anemo combination will produce the same value.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

An example rotation is Keqing Elemental Skill to establish Electro → Kazuha Skill and Burst → Kirara Skill and Burst → Fischl Burst or Skill → Keqing Skill, Burst, and Normal or Charged Attacks. A lower-cost structure can use Fischl, Dendro Traveler, Sucrose, and Yaoyao, with the on-field driver adjusted to the account.

3. Electro-Charged

Examples:

  • Fischl / Xingqiu / Sucrose / Beidou
  • Fischl / Kokomi / Kazuha / Beidou
  • Fischl / Neuvillette / Jean / Furina
  • Fischl / Kokomi / Kazuha / Furina

Electro-Charged damage is often incidental for Fischl herself. Sucrose is particularly useful because she can drive the team, Swirl Electro, hold Viridescent Venerer, and repeatedly trigger Fischl’s A4 through active-character reactions. The first team is a practical accessible structure; the Neuvillette and Furina examples are premium modern variants.

4. Lunar-Charged and modern Nod-Krai teams

Examples:

  • Flins / Columbina / Fischl / Durin
  • Nefer / Columbina / Fischl / Sucrose

Fischl is generally a substitute for Ineffa rather than a direct replacement in every composition. Her Hexerei EM buff can be especially valuable for Nefer-oriented Lunar teams. Celestial Gift may be less attractive in some Flins compositions if another teammate is a better holder, so compare the team’s actual buff distribution instead of equipping the set automatically.

5. Hyperbloom and Quickbloom

Examples:

  • Nahida / Xingqiu / Kuki Shinobu / Fischl
  • Fischl / Sucrose / Dendro Traveler / Xingqiu

In the first team, Kuki is normally the intended Hyperbloom trigger and Fischl adds supplemental damage. In the second, Sucrose can drive the team and Swirl Fischl’s Electro. Oz’s inconsistent Dendro Core targeting means Fischl should not automatically be given a full-EM Hyperbloom build. Build her for direct damage unless testing shows she owns enough reactions to justify a different setup.

What’s actually slowing this PC down?

Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

6. Overvape

Examples:

  • Ayato / Fischl / Bennett / Kazuha
  • Hu Tao / Fischl / Xingqiu or Yelan / flex
  • Kokomi / Fischl / Xiangling / Sucrose

Electro-Charged can leave both Hydro and Electro auras, allowing a Pyro hit to trigger Vaporize and Overload. Fischl is a strong fit because she applies Electro without taking field time. The Kokomi, Xiangling, and Sucrose version is a practical alternative when the premium carries are unavailable.

7. Physical-support teams

Example: Eula / Fischl / Rosaria / Diona.

Here Fischl supplies Electro for Superconduct, reducing enemy Physical RES. This is a support build, not a recommendation to build Fischl’s own attacks for physical damage. Tenacity of the Millelith is particularly useful if no other teammate carries it.

8. Geo-support teams

Examples:

  • Navia / Fischl / Zhongli / Bennett
  • Ningguang / Fischl / Albedo / Bennett

Fischl supplies particles and Electro application for Crystallize opportunities. These teams remain functional, but they do not exploit Fischl’s current Hexerei buffs and are better described as useful alternatives than as her strongest modern teams.

Rotations and Oz uptime

Beginner rotation

  1. Use your supports and apply the element needed for the team’s reaction.
  2. Switch to Fischl and use Nightrider to place Oz where enemies will remain.
  3. Immediately switch to the on-field character and perform the attacks that drive the team’s reactions.
  4. When Oz expires or the team’s next rotation begins, use Midnight Phantasmagoria to resummon him if the Skill is still on cooldown.
  5. When the Skill cooldown is available again, use Skill and alternate with Burst as needed.

Fischl’s Skill has a 25-second cooldown, while Burst has a 15-second cooldown and costs 60 Energy. For that reason, a team should not assume that Skill can be used every short rotation. Skill and Burst are normally alternated when the rotation requires continuous Oz uptime.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Advanced rotation rules

  • Cast Oz after snapshot-relevant buffs: Polar Star stacks, ATK buffs, Elemental DMG buffs, and other effects may need to be active before Oz is summoned.
  • Use Burst to bridge the Skill cooldown: do not leave Oz absent for a full rotation merely because Nightrider is unavailable.
  • Cancel Burst early: if the goal is only to reposition Oz, cancel Fischl’s transformation rather than spending field time on the full animation.
  • Resummon after a new Hexerei buff: a newly activated ATK or EM effect does not automatically update an existing Oz for snapshot-sensitive damage.
  • Do not force Burst every rotation: use it every rotation only if Fischl’s ER and particle flow support that schedule.
  • Place Oz carefully: certain Geo constructs can obstruct or interfere with Oz, so avoid summoning him behind Zhongli or Geo Traveler structures.

Constellations: which Fischl copies matter?

Constellation Value and practical use
C1 Mainly valuable for on-field Fischl. It adds coordinated attacks to Normal Attacks when Oz is not present, so it has low value for a normal off-field build.
C2 Adds damage to the Elemental Skill cast. Useful, but modest compared with C6.
C3 Raises Skill level and provides a meaningful personal-damage improvement because Oz’s damage is Skill-based.
C4 Improves Burst-related damage and adds healing. Helpful, but not transformative.
C5 Mainly raises Burst level. It is relatively low value because Fischl’s initial Burst hit is not her primary damage source.
C6 Fischl’s strongest constellation by a wide margin: Oz lasts two seconds longer, performs coordinated Electro attacks when the active character uses Normal Attacks, and enables the enhanced Hexerei ATK/EM window.

C0 Fischl remains fully functional and worth building. Do not chase constellations just to make her usable. C6 is most valuable when your teams use Normal-Attack drivers or modern Hexerei reactions, while C1 is the constellation to notice if you specifically want on-field Fischl.

Common mistakes and troubleshooting

Oz disappeared before the next rotation.
Check the 25-second Skill cooldown and Fischl’s Energy. Use Burst to resummon Oz when Skill is unavailable, or lengthen the rotation so the Skill is ready. Favonius Warbow can solve an ER shortage more effectively than forcing an underpowered damage bow.
The Hexerei buff did not appear.
Confirm Fischl completed Witch’s Homework, reached Level 70, and is in a party with at least two Hexerei characters. Then ensure Oz is deployed and the correct reaction is actually triggered. Overload grants ATK; Electro-Charged and Lunar-Charged grant EM.
The Hexerei buff appeared, but Oz did not hit harder.
Existing Oz does not automatically update to newly gained stats in snapshot-sensitive situations. Resummon or reposition him after the buff activates when the rotation permits.
Celestial Gift is not giving the expected 40% bonus.
The 40% version requires Witch’s Homework and active Hexerei: Secret Rite. Without those conditions, use the base 20% effect as the expectation. Also check whether another copy of the set is preventing an additional stack.
A4 is not triggering.
Oz must be active, and the current on-field character must trigger the Electro-related reaction. An off-field teammate’s reaction does not count. A4 can also target the nearest entity, including a Dendro Core.
Fischl seems to be stealing Hyperblooms.
Oz does not consistently target Dendro Cores. If Kuki or another Electro unit is intended to own Hyperbloom, keep Fischl on a normal CRIT-based damage build unless your testing shows otherwise.
C6 coordinated attacks are not appearing.
The active character must perform Normal Attacks that satisfy the coordinated-attack condition. Charged Attacks, Skills, Bursts, and every other attack type do not automatically count as Normal Attacks.
Overload feels worse than the damage numbers suggest.
Small enemies can be knocked away. Try grouping, use a more stable target, or choose an Aggravate, Electro-Charged, or Overvape team when enemy displacement costs more damage than the reaction adds.
Fischl is spending too much time aiming.
Her A1 charged-shot interaction is generally awkward and not worth including in a normal rotation. Summon Oz with Skill or Burst and return to the team’s active character.

Final build decisions

Choose Golden Troupe when Fischl is a general off-field DPS, when she plays outside Hexerei teams, or when her personal damage is a major part of the clear. Choose Celestial Gift when Witch’s Homework is complete, Hexerei: Secret Rite is active, the team benefits from Elemental DMG Bonus, and another teammate is not a better holder. Choose Rising Winds when its domain is already efficient for your account and its upgraded CRIT Rate effect helps your finished build.

For weapons, use Polar Star or another strong five-star bow for personal damage, Elegy for the End for team support, The Stringless in reaction-heavy Aggravate builds, Alley Hunter for off-field damage when its stacks are practical, and Favonius Warbow whenever energy comfort is worth more than theoretical damage. Then test the complete team rather than optimizing Fischl in isolation: reaction ownership, Oz’s position, ER, enemy movement, and snapshot timing determine whether a nominally lower-ranked option is actually better.

For detailed legacy mechanics, reactions, rotations, and ER theory, KQM’s Fischl guide remains valuable, but its concise quick guide identifies itself as updated for Version 4.0 and therefore does not include the later Hexerei, Celestial Gift, Rising Winds, Daybreak Chronicles, or current Nod-Krai context. For current high-level team and weapon coverage, use Mobalytics’ July 2026 guide alongside the in-game passive descriptions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Fischl worth building at C0?

Yes. C0 Fischl already provides strong off-field Electro damage, particles, and reaction support. C6 is a major upgrade, but it is not required for her standard Golden Troupe build or for teams such as Aggravate, Electro-Charged, Overload, Hyperbloom support, and Overvape.

Is Celestial Gift better than Golden Troupe on Fischl?

Not universally. Golden Troupe is the safer personal-DPS default. Celestial Gift is better when Fischl supports a Hexerei team, Witch’s Homework is complete, Hexerei: Secret Rite is active, and the team gains more from the Elemental DMG Bonus than from Fischl’s lost Skill damage.

Should Fischl use an EM Sands in every reaction team?

No. Use ATK% Sands by default in most Electro-Charged and Overload teams. EM Sands is mainly competitive in Aggravate or when Fischl has meaningful reaction ownership and better EM-related buffs or substats.

Does Fischl need to use her Burst every rotation?

Only if the team’s Energy Recharge and rotation support it. Fischl’s Skill has a 25-second cooldown, so Skill and Burst are often alternated to keep Oz active. If Burst is unavailable, adjust the rotation or add ER rather than leaving Oz absent.

Does Fischl trigger most Hyperblooms?

Not reliably. Oz does not consistently target Dendro Cores, so Fischl is usually supplemental damage in Hyperbloom teams. Build her for direct Electro damage unless testing proves that she owns enough reactions to justify substantial EM investment.

The Bottom Line

Build Fischl as an off-field Electro DPS first: Golden Troupe, ATK% / Electro / CRIT, Skill > Burst, and a damage bow such as Polar Star, The Stringless, or Alley Hunter. Move to Celestial Gift and a support bow such as Elegy only when your Hexerei team can activate the conditional effects and the team gains more from support than from Fischl’s personal damage. Keep Oz active, verify who owns each reaction, and treat ER as a rotation-specific requirement rather than a fixed universal number.
