To escape the sealed space, transform into an Iktomisaurus, use its Special Elemental Sight to reveal a hidden wall mark, and scan the mark with its Spiritspeaker ability. After the passage opens, scan the next mark to create an item, place it on the dais, then use the exit. This is a puzzle step in the Version 5.2 quest “Calling from the Masters of the Night-Wind,” not a separate quest.
Before you try to escape
This objective comes after “Look for Clues (0/3)” and before “Talk to Biram” in “Calling from the Masters of the Night-Wind,” the first act of the Masters of the Night-Wind Tribal Chronicles, “Memories Flowing With Color: Act I.” Complete all three clue interactions first; the escape step follows them in the quest sequence. The quest reference says the parent quest begins by approaching the Statue of the Seven in Tezcatepetonco Range and that the party is limited to the Traveler during the clue and escape steps. Escape the sealed space step by step

Transform into an Iktomisaurus
Use the nearby Saurian transformation point, described in walkthroughs as a Spiritscone, to take Iktomisaurus form.

Reveal the first wall mark
Face the apparently blank wall near the marked area and activate the Iktomisaurus’s Special Elemental Sight. This reveals the hidden mark. On PC, Beebom lists holding the middle mouse button for Elemental Sight; on other platforms, check the current in-game key bindings.

Scan the mark to open the passage
With the mark visible, use the Iktomisaurus’s Spiritspeaker ability on it. This is a separate action from Elemental Sight: Sight reveals the Nightspirit Graffiti, while Spiritspeaker interacts with it and opens the wall passage.

Find and scan the next mark
Go through the passage to the dais or altar area. Use the Iktomisaurus ability on the next mark there to create the item needed for the exit.

Place the item and leave
Put the created item on the dais, then interact with the resulting exit to complete the escape step.

If the wall will not open
- Nothing appears on the wall: Make sure you are in Iktomisaurus form, then use its Special Elemental Sight while facing the wall. The revealed mark is the target for the next action.
- The mark appears, but nothing happens: Use Spiritspeaker on the visible mark. Elemental Sight and the Iktomisaurus ability perform different parts of the puzzle.
- The objective is not active: Check that “Look for Clues (0/3)” is complete and all three clue interactions have been made before attempting the escape step.
- You cannot find Elemental Sight’s control: Beebom identifies middle mouse as the PC input, but controls can vary by platform or binding. Check the in-game controls settings rather than assuming that input applies everywhere.
