The weapon costs 20 Rusty Koi, 20 Golden Koi, and 6 Raimei Angelfish. To refine it to R5, buy four Ako’s Sake Vessels with additional fish. The level-90 weapon has 510 base ATK and 45.9% Energy Recharge, and its passive boosts Elemental Burst damage and Burst CRIT Rate.
How to get The Catch
Exchange the required fish with the Inazuma Fishing Association. GameWith lists the exchange as available without using Wishes. Its fishing-location guide was marked updated October 7, 2026, and Icy Veins’ weapon guide was marked updated September 21, 2026; these are secondary guides, so check the live in-game shop and fishing spots if a patch changes them.
| Fish | Amount for The Catch | Locations listed by GameWith |
|---|---|---|
| Rusty Koi | 20 | Cider Lake, Guili Plains, Lihua Pool, Wangshu Inn, and Koseki Village |
| Golden Koi | 20 | Stormbearer Mountains, Guili Plains, Lihua Pool, Wangshu Inn, and Koseki Village |
| Raimei Angelfish | 6 | Tatarasuna |
These locations are guide-reported fishing spots, not a live map of fish currently available in your world. The guide says fishing spots respawn after three days; while waiting, it suggests fishing in another player’s world with their permission.
How to refine The Catch to R5
You do not need duplicate copies of The Catch. Purchase Ako’s Sake Vessel from the fishing exchange and use it as the refinement material. GameWith lists four vessels for purchase, enough to take the weapon from R1 to R5.

Who benefits from The Catch?
The Catch combines Energy Recharge with a passive that directly benefits Elemental Burst damage and Burst CRIT Rate. That makes it a practical option for characters whose builds rely on their Burst and need Energy Recharge. GameWith names Raiden Shogun and Xiangling as example users, and also lists Zhongli and Rosaria; treat those as build suggestions, not a universal ranking.

- Consider how important the character’s Elemental Burst damage is to their role.
- Check whether the Energy Recharge helps meet that character’s Burst needs.
- Factor in The Catch’s refinement rank and the other polearms you already have.
- Weigh the time needed to fish against the value of your existing weapon options.
The cited guides do not establish a numerical, character-by-character ranking or prove The Catch is universally best-in-slot. Its value depends on the character’s build and available alternatives.
