Who was on the Version 4.4 Phase 1 banners?
HoYoverse’s official announcement placed Xianyun and Nahida in the first half of Version 4.4, alongside Gaming’s debut. Xiao and Yae Miko were announced for the latter half. The announcement confirms the banner lineup; it does not establish that the characters appearing in simultaneous Event Wishes were intended to be played together.

Does Xianyun and Nahida appearing together make a “perfect combo”?
Not on the evidence of the banner announcement alone. It confirms that Xianyun and Nahida were available in the same phase, but it does not compare their combat synergy, evaluate their teams, or say that pulling for both is optimal. Two characters sharing a banner period is a schedule fact, not a recommendation to put them on one team.

Whether pursuing either character made sense depended on a player’s roster, the role or team they wanted to build, and their wish budget. Those are personal decision criteria, not an endorsement from HoYoverse. The announcement provides no banner popularity, pull-value, or synergy statistics.
What did the announcement say Xianyun can do?
HoYoverse described Xianyun as a five-star Anemo catalyst character. In the announcement, Yi said: “Using her adepti powers and mechanical inventions, she can leap into the air and dash forward two more times, or heal nearby characters and enhance their jump height and Plunging Attacks.” That is a high-level description; the announcement is not a detailed team or build comparison.
