HoYoverse announced the lineup on April 12, 2024, ahead of the update’s scheduled April 24 release. The official announcement confirms the banners, but does not establish who first reported the lineup as a leak or when.
Who was on the Genshin Impact 4.6 banners?
HoYoverse’s April 12, 2024 announcement listed the featured five-star character pairs in this order:
| Version 4.6 phase | Featured characters |
|---|---|
| First half | Arlecchino and Lyney |
| Second half | Wanderer and Baizhu |
The announcement said the update was scheduled to arrive April 24, 2024. These are historical banner details, not a current or upcoming Wish schedule. HoYoverse’s Version 4.6 announcement on PlayStation.Blog was written by Zhenzhong Yi, Studio Technical Director at HoYoverse.
Was the Version 4.6 lineup really a leak?
“Leak” describes the pre-announcement rumor context, not what the official source proves. HoYoverse later confirmed the pairings, but the available official announcement does not identify an earlier leaker or verify when an original leak appeared, what it said, or how closely it matched the final schedule at the time. It would therefore be misleading to credit a specific leaker or treat the leak’s provenance as established.
What else did the first half add?
Arlecchino and Crimson Moon’s Semblance
The announcement introduced Arlecchino, also called “The Knave,” as the Fourth of the Fatui Harbingers and a Pyro polearm character. Its 2024 description explained that her combat kit uses Bond of Life, a mechanic that can prevent healing until an equivalent amount of healing is received. Arlecchino uses Bond of Life to strengthen her attacks, while her Elemental Burst was described as her way to heal herself in combat because of her unique Talent.
The first half also included the five-star polearm Crimson Moon’s Semblance, which HoYoverse associated with Bond of Life combat. These are details from the publisher’s Version 4.6 announcement, not a current assessment of character balance or a recommendation about which Wish to choose.

More than banners
Version 4.6 also added the Sea of Bygone Eras and a music-tour event organized by Arataki Itto and Dvorak. Those additions placed the two banner phases within a broader update, but the official announcement’s relevant banner answer remains the two character pairings above.
