When did Genshin Impact Version 5.2 release?
HoYoverse announced Version 5.2 for November 20, 2024. The update’s full title was “Tapestry of Spirit and Flame.” That date has passed; Version 5.2 is not an upcoming release. HoYoverse Studio Technical Director Zhenzhong Yi introduced the update as a journey into the stories and landscapes of Natlan.
What new content did Version 5.2 reveal?
Two Natlan tribes
The reveal put the Flower-Feather Clan and the Masters of the Night-Wind at the center of its Natlan story and exploration. These communities are part of the update’s expanded look at the region.
Chasca and Ororon
HoYoverse named Chasca and Ororon as elite warriors players could recruit. The announcement introduced both as part of Version 5.2’s Natlan-focused content.

Two Saurian species featured new ways to explore: Qucusaurs enabled mid-flight maneuvering, while Iktomisaurs could reveal things invisible to the naked eye. The official preview presented these abilities as tools for taking to the skies and uncovering more of Natlan.
Ochkanatlan
The ancient ruined city of Ochkanatlan lies northwest of the two tribes. HoYoverse highlighted it as a major location to explore alongside the new characters and Saurian companions.
What was the Version 5.2 event schedule?
HoYoverse published the Version 5.2 preview on November 8, 2024, followed by a Phase I event preview on November 18. The Phase II Event Wishes notice, published December 5, listed a December 10–31, 2024 window. Those dates describe the completed 2024 schedule, not current banners. The accessible official previews do not provide enough readable detail to reproduce a complete event list or full banner schedule.
