Version 6.0 began the year-long Song of the Welkin Moon version series and introduced Nod-Krai, a self-governing region at the southernmost part of Snezhnaya. The launch opened three island areas: Lempo Isle, Hiisi Island, and Paha Isle. How did Kuuvahki and Lunar reactions work?
The livestream introduced Kuuvahki as a power tied to Nod-Krai’s moon lore. Characters blessed by the moon could channel it through Moon Wheels; Lauma and Flins were among those with this ability. The central combat change was a new family of Lunar reactions, built on familiar elemental combinations but with distinct character interactions.
Lauma and Lunar-Bloom
Lauma could convert Bloom reactions into Lunar-Bloom, generate Verdant Dew, deal area Dendro damage, and reduce enemy Dendro and Hydro resistance. The announcement positioned her around enabling and supporting this reaction.
Flins and Lunar-Charged
Flins was presented as a Lunar-Charged damage dealer, with alternate ways to use his Elemental Burst. The broadcast framed the mechanic as part of the new combat system rather than making a claim about his performance in every team.
What did Nod-Krai add beyond its islands?
The region’s story and exploration were connected through locations and factions including Nasha Town, Hiisi Island, the Frostmoon Scions, the Lightkeepers, the Fatui, and the Wild Hunt. New Meeting Points let players visit places associated with characters and unlock additional stories. The announcement also highlighted the Radiant Moonfly, Kuuhenki movement, Moonlanes, and Knuckle Duckle as examples of new exploration and combat content.
Who could access Nod-Krai and its Archon Quest?
According to HoYoverse’s Version Luna I update details, players who had completed Mondstadt’s Prologue: Act III could enter Nod-Krai using a Teleport Waypoint at the region entrance. Completing Liyue’s Chapter I Act III allowed players to start the new Archon Quests immediately. These were separate progression thresholds: the stated entry condition was lower than the condition for immediately beginning the new Archon story.
What anniversary rewards were announced?
The Version 6.0 overview listed 10 Intertwined Fates, 1,600 Primogems, two exclusive gadgets, and a free five-star standard-banner character of the player’s choice. These were anniversary rewards announced for the 2025 launch period. They should not be treated as currently claimable rewards.
Are the livestream redemption codes still valid?
No. The HoYoLAB summary published August 28, 2025 reported a September 1, 2025 expiration for the livestream codes. They are historical codes, not a current source of Primogems.
