Contemporary coverage of the 6.2 livestream named Durin and Jahoda among the new characters, but the available sources do not establish the stream’s complete announcement slate or the original details of its Hexerei feature.
What was announced in the Version 6.2 livestream?
PC Gamer’s November 21, 2025 coverage of the Version 6.2 livestream identifies Durin, a Pyro character, and Jahoda, an Anemo character, among the update’s new characters. That report does not establish their full kits, banner schedule, or every character shown during the program, so those details should not be inferred from the names alone. PC Gamer’s Version 6.2 livestream coverage also discusses redemption codes offered during the program.
What was Version 6.2 called, and when did it arrive?
HoYoverse used the name Version “Luna III: Song of the Welkin Moon: Interlude — ‘A Nocturne of the Far North’” in its official maintenance preview. The notice said maintenance would begin December 3, 2025, at 06:00 (UTC+8), with an estimated duration of five hours. This is the official update naming and timing; “Version 6.2” is the terminology used in contemporary coverage of the same update cycle. HoYoverse’s Luna III maintenance preview.
What is Hexerei?
Hexerei is a combat-related effect that can change or enhance aspects of a character’s combat, as described in later developer-authored coverage. That later material discusses Hexerei synergies and a subsequent character roster, but it does not verify exactly what the Version 6.2 livestream first announced, how the feature worked at launch, or which characters initially qualified. It is therefore not possible to give a reliable Version 6.2-specific mechanic or roster from the available sources. PlayStation Blog / HoYoverse’s later Hexerei context.
Are the 6.2 livestream codes still usable?
The contemporary coverage reports that the livestream included redemption codes, but these were time-limited promotional codes. The available information does not establish that any Version 6.2 code remains redeemable, so treat them as expired unless HoYoverse confirms otherwise through a current official notice. The code article is useful as a historical record, not proof of present availability.

Why Version 6.2 is now historical
HoYoverse subsequently announced a Luna IV special program for January 2, 2026 (UTC−5), then a Version 7.1 special program for September 12, 2026 (UTC−4). Those later program notices make clear that the 6.2 livestream is no longer a current update announcement. Luna IV special program preview and Version 7.1 special program preview.
