What counts as getting all Ghost of Yōtei trophies?
There are several different completion targets. The base-game platinum is the original campaign checklist; New Game+, Legends and the two post-launch sets have separate trophies. Completing all of those sets is broader than earning the platinum.

TrueTrophies reported 85 total trophies—69 bronze, 12 silver, 3 gold and 1 platinum—on October 4, 2026. That count includes the separate sets above; it is not the number required for the base-game platinum.

Base-game trophy list and platinum
Legendary Onryō is the base-game platinum. The current third-party guide says it is earned by obtaining all 53 other base-game trophies, is not missable, does not require online play and is not affected by difficulty. Those are guide claims rather than an official difficulty statement.
The guide’s base-game trophy list contains the following names. For many trophies, the available source lists the title but does not provide a verified unlock condition; use the description shown in your in-game trophy list for the exact trigger instead of inferring it from the title.

Three concrete examples in the third-party guide: The Snake is awarded for crossing the first name off the sash; The Woman Behind the Mask requires sparing the innkeeper’s daughter; and Quick Draw requires acquiring all five quick-draw weapons. Confirm the full wording in the game if you need an exact checklist for the remaining base trophies.
New Game+ trophies
New Game+ unlocks after the main story. PlayStation’s announcement says the mode carries over earned equipment and abilities and adds two trophies. Neither is required for the base-game platinum.

Legends trophies
Legends is Ghost of Yōtei’s online co-op mode, and its six trophies are separate from the base platinum. PlayStation states that online multiplayer requires PlayStation Plus.
- Tale of Revenge: complete all Story missions.
- Student No More: reach rank 25 with one class.
- Vengeance Fulfilled: complete all four Incursions.
- Ghosts Unyielding: complete a Survival mission on Gold difficulty or higher.
- No More Lessons: exact unlock condition not stated in the inspected guide text; check the live trophy description.
- Kaibyaku: exact unlock condition not stated in the inspected guide text; check the live trophy description.
Echoes of Sekigahara: all 12 trophy requirements
Player Atlas’s guide, updated October 2, 2026, lists these 12 expansion trophies and requirements. It advises completing encounter-specific actions while Viper camps remain active: once a region is cleared, the relevant enemies, archers or intact traps may be harder to find. Treat that as route guidance from the guide, not a guarantee that every encounter becomes permanently unavailable.

- Food for the People: secure all four Viper Storehouses for the people of Ashoro Springs. Complete the supply objective and hand over the flare; defeating the enemies alone is not enough.
- No More Snakes: break the Vipers’ hold over Ashoro Foothills through story progress.
- Unbreakable: defeat the specific warrior tied to the Unbreakable encounter. Ordinary armored Vipers do not count.
- Free Bird: during A Buried Promise, release the captive Golden Bird. After the fight, return to its cage and interact with it.
- Paths to Color: purchase all five dye trade routes from the Colorful Dye Merchant. The requirement is the routes, not every individual dye.
- Mother of Misfortune: win three Zeni Hajiki games at Fortune’s Asobiya.
- Hungry for More: discover all four new recipes: Sweet Mushroom Stew, Savory Mushroom Stew, Aromatic Fish and Savory Fish Stew.
- Handsome Yet Deadly: defeat three enemies with Gambler’s Mark; the marked attack must deliver the killing hit.
- Pack Hunter: defeat an enemy using Call of the Pack; the wolf must get the final hit.
- Return to Sender: kill an enemy with a caught and returned arrow. The arrow itself must make the kill.
- Not This Time: disarm a Viper trap before triggering it.
Most Wanted Mode trophies
Most Wanted Mode has 11 trophies according to the current TrueTrophies listing accessed October 4, 2026. PlayStation describes Most Wanted as a single-player combat survival mode and Sucker Punch Senior Communications Manager Andrew Goldfarb called it “our spin on a roguelike.” The exact names and unlock conditions for all 11 trophies are not verified in the available source material, so consult the current in-game trophy descriptions before attempting a condition-specific checklist.
Are any trophies missable?
The base-game guide describes the platinum as having no missable trophies. Do not apply that assurance to every post-launch set: the Echoes of Sekigahara guide says some Ashoro encounters and combat actions are easier while camps remain active. If you are pursuing the expansion trophies, do the listed enemy-, archer- and trap-dependent objectives before clearing nearby hostile camps where practical.

Do you need the Complete Edition for every trophy set?
PlayStation lists Ghost of Yōtei as a PS5 game and lists both a physical Standard Edition and a Complete Edition. The Complete Edition includes the main game, Legends, Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted. Owners of the game can access the latter two through the Complete Edition Upgrade; PlayStation’s August announcement listed that upgrade at $14.99 USD. Store prices and availability vary by region and can change, so check your local PlayStation Store listing before buying. The available source does not establish whether all physical Complete Edition content is installed from disc or requires a download.
