Ghoul Garden Part 3 was a Halloween update for Grow a Garden in 2025. Its central reported activity was a Reaper exchange: submit required items to summon the Reaper’s plant, while bearing in mind that stock was limited each time the event was completed. Community-maintained update logs disagree on the Part 3 date, and whether its content is still obtainable in 2026 has not been established.
When did Ghoul Garden Part 3 arrive?
The date is not consistent across the available community-maintained update logs. The Fandom update log labels the Part 3 entry October 31, 2025, while a Japanese-language update-log mirror places it under October 25, 2025. Treat those as dates reported by the respective sources, not a settled launch date.
A secondary event guide dates the original Ghoul Garden event to October 11–25, 2025 (event guide). That interval refers to the broader event and should not be mistaken for the disputed Part 3 update date.
How did the Reaper event work?
The update-log descriptions say players placed required items to summon the Reaper’s plant. A secondary guide calls this the Harvest Reaper event and describes submitting plants in exchange for rewards (Harvest Reaper guide). Together, these descriptions point to an item-submission exchange, but they do not establish a complete item list, exact reward sequence, or guaranteed outcome.

The logs specifically warn that stock was limited each time the Reaper event was completed. They name the Severed Spine Seed, but do not give a stock count or drop rate. If using an in-game version of this activity, check the current Reaper requirements and available stock rather than assuming a particular submission will still be accepted or guarantee a seed.

| Category | Reported additions |
|---|---|
| Plants | Severed Spine, Wereplant, Devilroot, Ghost Bush, and Glass Kiwi |
| Pets | Mummy and Lich |
| Chest | Spooky Chest, described as having three possible seeds and three possible pets |
| Other content | Glass Animals event, more Halloween achievements, and various mutations |
The Spooky Chest description establishes possible reward categories, not their odds or whether opening one guarantees any particular item. The logs also mention a Sarcophagus cosmetic: when paired with a Mummy, pets obtained from chests have a chance to receive extra base weight. They do not state the chance or amount.
Other reported changes included music for the grave-digging event, an easier Dead Tree event, and shop-interface and quality-of-life changes. These details come from community-maintained logs that reproduce update notes, rather than a directly verified official announcement (update-log mirror).

How does Part 3 fit into the wider Ghoul Garden event?
Secondary guides describe the wider Halloween event as involving the Witch NPC, Candy Corn, spooky seeds, pets, quests, digging, event crates, and a Jack-O-Lantern interaction. They also describe submitting Halloween-type plants or plants with Halloween mutations at the Jack-O-Lantern for a possible reward. These are broader event mechanics, not all confirmed Part 3 additions; details are reported by guides rather than established by the update-log descriptions.
- The Ghoul Garden event guide organizes the event around starting it, Candy Corn, the spooky seed shop, critters, decor, and the Jack-O-Lantern NPC.
- The Jack-O-Lantern guide describes the plant-submission interaction and possible reward.
Can you still get Part 3 content?
Whether Ghoul Garden Part 3 content remains obtainable in 2026 is unconfirmed. The sources establish it as a 2025 update, but do not verify current availability. Check the live game for an active Reaper event, shop stock, or event interface before planning around the seeds, pets, chest, or other limited event content.
