Where to find Gible and how it evolves in Pokémon Legends: Z-A are not confirmed by the official sources available for this guide. They do confirm that Gible is Pokédex No. 443 and Garchomp is No. 445, but those entries do not establish Gible’s location or evolution requirements in this game. Here is what is verified—and how to reach Mega Garchomp Z if you have the Mega Dimension DLC.

Where can you find Gible in Pokémon Legends: Z-A?

No game-specific location or encounter conditions are established in the official material reviewed here. That means a district, habitat, time of day, weather, rank, or special trigger cannot be responsibly given as a confirmed answer. Do not treat a location from another Pokémon game as proof of where Gible appears in Pokémon Legends: Z-A.

Once a Pokémon is registered, the Rotom Phone Pokédex can show information such as its movements, cries, and habitat. The official game advice page explains that catching, evolving, or trading a Pokémon registers its data: Pokémon Legends: Z-A gameplay tips.

How does Gible evolve in Pokémon Legends: Z-A?

The game-specific evolution requirement for Gible is not established by the official sources reviewed here. No level or other condition should be assumed from a different game. The official Pokédex lists Gible as No. 443 and Garchomp as No. 445, but species numbers alone do not confirm an evolution method in this title: Pokémon.com Pokédex: Gible and Pokémon.com Pokédex: Garchomp.

How to get Mega Garchomp Z

Mega Garchomp Z is a separate DLC feature; the official information does not establish that the DLC is needed to find Gible. The Pokémon Company’s instructions, dated February 27, 2026, describe this route:

  1. Claim the Mystery Gift through the in-game Mystery Gift menu. The publisher says the gift can be claimed without buying the Mega Dimension DLC.
  2. To detect and enter the special hyperspace distortion, own the Mega Dimension DLC and complete at least one hyperspace adventure.
  3. In the Mystery Gift menu, select “Special distortion detected!” and go to the special distortion.
  4. Defeat Mega Garchomp Z to receive Garchompite Z, then give the stone to a Garchomp so it can Mega Evolve into Mega Garchomp Z.

These steps and the distinction between claiming the gift and accessing the DLC distortion are described in the official Mega Garchomp Z instructions. Mega Dimension adds story content to experience after completing the main story, and its official page lists Mega Garchomp Z among its Pokémon: Mega Dimension DLC.

Where to get Mega Stones in Lumiose City

For Mega Evolution generally, the official gameplay advice says Mega Stones can be obtained at the Stone Emporium or exchanged for Mega Shards at Quasartico Inc. Mega Shards come from breaking Mega Crystal clusters around Lumiose City. A Pokémon needs its Mega Stone as a held item to Mega Evolve. These general mechanics do not replace the special Garchompite Z reward steps above: official gameplay tips.
