GOG’s One-click Mods feature offers a simpler installation route for selected fan-made mods. Its best-known example is Fallout: London: the free One-click Edition is listed for Windows, requires Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition (GOTY), and GOG says owners of that prerequisite can install and start playing without additional setup steps. That promise applies to GOG’s dedicated edition—not every version or storefront.
What GOG One-click Mods does
One-click Mods is a curated GOG catalog of selected mods packaged to make installation easier. The projects are fan-made, not necessarily developed by the original games’ creators, as GOG notes in its One-click Mods FAQ. The catalog includes projects such as Fallout: London, Nehrim: At Fate’s Edge, KeeperFX, OpenMW, Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Plus, Tamriel Rebuilt, Ashes 2063 and GMDX. The catalog can change, so this is not a permanent or exhaustive list.

How the Fallout: London One-click Edition works
Fallout: London is a free, non-commercial total conversion mod for Fallout 4 developed by Team FOLON. GOG’s One-click Edition listing requires Fallout 4 GOTY. Once you own that edition, GOG says the One-click Edition needs no additional steps: install it and start playing. This is the simplified GOG installation path; it should not be read as a guarantee that setup is equally simple on other storefronts.
GOG advertises 200 quests, 20 factions, seven companions and 15 boroughs on the product page, along with an estimate of up to 90 hours of gameplay. These are store-page content claims and a playtime estimate, not independent measurements.

Galaxy is optional
GOG Galaxy is not required to install or play the One-click Edition. GOG also offers a fully offline installer; Galaxy can be used for optional achievement and cloud-save synchronization. The separate GOG installation guidance describes a Galaxy-based sequence for the general GOG version, so follow the instructions for the edition you actually own.
GOG and Steam use different setup paths
The GOG One-click Edition is the route described as requiring no additional installation steps after the GOTY prerequisite is owned. Steam owners are directed to Team FOLON’s separate release instructions, which require downgrading Fallout 4 to version 1.10.163.0 (the pre-next-gen version). Team FOLON also says all DLC or GOTY is required, while the High Resolution Texture Pack is not.

In practice, choose the instructions that match your storefront rather than assuming the “one click” label covers every installation:
- GOG: The One-click Edition requires Fallout 4 GOTY; GOG says Galaxy is optional.
- Steam: Follow Team FOLON’s procedure, including the specified downgrade and DLC requirement.
Check the PC requirements before installing
GOG publishes the following requirements for the One-click Edition. They are the store’s stated specifications, not independent performance-test results.

GOG lists Windows as the officially supported platform for this edition. Its requirements page does not establish support for other operating systems.
Understand the installation and save-file caveats
GOG’s general Fallout: London instructions warn that the mod takes over the Fallout 4 installation and makes irreversible changes to the default GOTY installation. They also warn that the base game and mod share a save folder and direct users to disable cloud saves. To return to the default GOTY installation, GOG says to uninstall both the game and mod, then reinstall Fallout 4 GOTY.

Team FOLON recommends starting with a clean installation and removing other mods before setup because conflicts can occur. These cautions matter even when the GOG edition simplifies installation: a shorter setup process does not mean the change is isolated or instantly reversible.

The practical distinction is storefront-specific: GOG offers a dedicated One-click Edition, while the Steam route still involves Team FOLON’s downgrade instructions. Neither path removes the need to check compatibility, save handling and installation impact before proceeding.
