Is GTA 6 coming to PC in early 2026?
There is no official confirmation of an early-2026 PC launch. That timing is an unverified forecast, not an announced release date. As of October 8, 2026, early 2026 has already passed, and the current official schedule is for the console versions later this year.

Rockstar’s official GTA VI page lists November 19, 2026, and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Take-Two’s fiscal first-quarter 2027 release table gives the same date and platforms. Neither source lists PC.
When is GTA 6 coming out on PC?
Rockstar has not announced a PC release date. The absence of a PC listing means there is no confirmed date to report; it does not establish that a PC version will never be released.

The original source for the “early 2026” claim could not be reliably identified. A search result pointed to a secondary report referencing a Corsair-related estimate, but the report itself could not be checked and no primary confirmation was located. Its author, basis, and connection to this particular claim therefore remain unverified.
What has Take-Two said about PC?
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has discussed PC’s growing importance to the company, but that is not a GTA VI platform announcement or release window. PC Gamer reported on September 18, 2026, that Zelnick said the company generally aims to launch on platforms with a meaningful audience, adding that “the PC platform is becoming more and more important to our company over time.” The remarks concern Take-Two’s general strategy, not a specific GTA VI date or confirmation.

Which GTA 6 platforms and date are confirmed?
The currently announced release is November 19, 2026, for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Take-Two’s June 24, 2026 preorder announcement names those platforms and the same date. It lists the US standard edition at $79.99 and Ultimate Edition at $99.99; those are the prices stated in that announcement, not a PC edition’s pricing.
Rockstar Support says the announced physical retail version is a box containing a download code, not a disc, and that preload is scheduled to begin November 12, 2026. See Rockstar’s physical-edition preorder information for those details.

Why do older GTA 6 release dates differ?
The schedule has changed. In a May 2, 2025 announcement, Take-Two moved the planned console release from fall 2025 to May 26, 2026. That was later superseded by the currently listed November 19, 2026 date. For current timing, Rockstar’s game page and Take-Two’s latest release table are the relevant references.
