Those are publisher-advertised counts, rather than independently audited totals. The page also lists four named competitions: Street World Tour, International Cup, World League, and European Cup.

Can you play Golazo! 2 with friends locally?
Yes, the console storefronts list one to four players on a single system for both PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Steam lists shared/split-screen player-versus-player and co-op features, in addition to single-player. The Steam listing also includes Remote Play Together, a separate Steam feature for playing with friends remotely; it should not be confused with a claim that the game has online matchmaking.

On Switch, Nintendo lists TV, tabletop, and handheld play modes and names the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller as compatible. The listing does not say that a Pro Controller is required or included.

Steam separately notes that its client requires Windows 10 or later as of January 1, 2024. That client requirement is distinct from the game’s listed minimum operating system. Minimum specifications are published requirements, not a guarantee of smooth performance on every system that meets them.
Are there editions or downloadable add-ons?
Steam lists the base game and two DLC items: Qatar International Stars and Pixel Stars. Nintendo’s US listing also names those two DLC items. PlayStation’s store lists the base edition as well as Soccer Cup 2022 and Pixel Soccer editions. Editions and add-on availability can vary by storefront and territory, so check the relevant store page for current details.
