The Golden Loong Staff is a Mythical weapon with 108 attack, built around Pillar Stance: it increases the damage of all Pillar Stance moves and can summon a loong to execute Thunder during heavy attacks that cost three or four Focus Points. To craft it, defeat Cyan Loong or Yellow Loong to unlock the recipe, then obtain the materials tied to both bosses and upgrade the Loongwreathe Staff.
How to unlock and craft the Golden Loong Staff
The Golden Loong Staff is an upgrade of the Loongwreathe Staff. The Wukong Wiki says its crafting recipe becomes available after you defeat either Cyan Loong or Yellow Loong. However, unlocking the recipe is not the same as collecting every required material: the page identifies a boss-reward chest for each of the two named materials.
- Defeat Cyan Loong or Yellow Loong to make the Golden Loong Staff craftable.
- Open the chest awarded after defeating Cyan Loong to obtain the Mountain-Shaking Claw.
- Open the chest awarded after defeating Yellow Loong to obtain the Sea-Supporting Tendon.
- Use the available crafting option to upgrade the Loongwreathe Staff into the Golden Loong Staff.
The cited item page does not state the full recipe quantities, so the exact number of materials required is not established here. Wukong Wiki’s Golden Loong Staff entry lists the weapon’s progression and material sources.
Stats and unique effect
The Wukong Wiki lists the Golden Loong Staff as Mythical rarity with 108 attack. Its unique effect considerably increases the damage dealt by all Pillar Stance moves. When you land a Pillar Stance heavy attack costing three or four Focus Points, the weapon can summon a loong to execute Thunder at the enemy. These are the item’s listed in-game stats and effect, not results from a comparative weapon test.

Who should use it?
The effect makes this staff a natural choice for a build that regularly uses Pillar Stance, especially if you make use of its three- or four-Focus-Point heavy attacks. If Pillar Stance is not a central part of your approach, the weapon’s defining bonus may be less useful to you. The available reference establishes its effect, but does not provide a controlled comparison that would justify calling it the best weapon for every build.
