But the available evidence does not establish how it performs against other electric cars in the game. Real-world specifications and Nürburgring laps offer context—not a substitute for controlled GT7 testing.
Is the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra in Gran Turismo 7?
Yes. The official Update 1.67 notice names the “Xiaomi SU7 Ultra ’25” among three cars added to GT7 on January 29, 2026, and identifies Brand Central as its in-game source. That confirms the car’s inclusion, but the notice does not provide comparative lap times or handling results.

What its real-world figures say—and do not say
Xiaomi’s November 2024 investor filing describes the production SU7 Ultra as using two Xiaomi HyperEngine V8s motors and one V6s motor. Xiaomi reports a maximum output of 1,548 PS, 0–100 km/h in 1.98 seconds, and a designed top speed of 350 km/h. In the game, acceleration, braking, cornering balance, stability, and lap time depend on the game’s vehicle model and the conditions of a test. Real-world output and acceleration figures alone cannot establish that the SU7 Ultra is faster than another GT7 EV on a particular circuit.

Keep the two Nürburgring lap claims separate
Xiaomi reports that the production SU7 Ultra completed a Nürburgring Nordschleife lap in 7:04.957 on April 1, 2025. That run used the optional Professional Track Package, a carbon-fiber dual-vent front hood, and an aerodynamic underbody plate.
The much quicker 6:22.091 time from the same date belongs to the SU7 Ultra Prototype, not the production car. Xiaomi describes the prototype as having race-focused equipment, including a removed interior and air conditioning, carbon-fiber exterior panels, and track-focused aerodynamics. The two figures therefore describe different vehicle configurations; the prototype’s time should not be presented as the production SU7 Ultra’s record. The Nürburgring says its official Nordschleife record laps cover 20.832 km and use a flying start. Its record methodology describes calibrated timing equipment, notary supervision, and documentation of vehicle approval and standard condition by a neutral testing organization. Record categories follow German Federal Motor Transport Authority classifications. The circuit says, “Since 2019, these record drives are officially confirmed and listed by the Nürburgring.” Those details help explain the real-world records; they do not translate them into GT7 lap times.

A useful comparison needs a reproducible in-game test. The sources confirming the SU7 Ultra’s addition do not establish a validated rival roster or provide head-to-head GT7 results, so choose rivals in your own game and verify they are available in your version before testing.

- Fix the test conditions. Use the same GT7 version, circuit and track layout, tires, assists, tuning rules, and driver for each car. Record any settings that could affect the result.
- Measure more than one lap time. Compare acceleration, braking, cornering, stability, lap consistency, and tuning flexibility as well as a clean lap. A single lap can conceal differences in repeatability or setup.
- Keep setups comparable. Either test cars in a defined stock configuration or use a stated tuning method for every car. Record any changes rather than mixing stock and modified results.
- Report the method with the result. Name the game version, circuit, settings, assists, tires, tuning, and test method. Without those details, readers cannot tell whether a time reflects the car or different test conditions.
That framework can produce a meaningful in-game comparison, but it is a recommended method—not a claim that a controlled SU7 Ultra-versus-rival test has been completed.
