MADFINGER Games is working on a plan to identify and remove cheaters in Gray Zone Warfare as quickly as possible, CEO and co-founder Marek Rabas reportedly said. He also acknowledged that the studio cannot prevent every instance of cheating. The remarks describe a goal under development—not a new anti-cheat system confirmed as deployed.
What did the CEO say about cheaters?
In an October 2, 2026 report, Insider Gaming attributed the comments to Rabas during a media briefing about the forthcoming Rogue Ops / Update 0.5. The outlet quoted him saying, “We’ve discussed it a lot… How to do it. We’re making a proper plan, we’re working on it, and the main goal is to react as soon as possible.” It also reported him saying, “We cannot prohibit all the cheating, but we can find these people and kick them out as soon as possible.”
The comments set an ambition—respond faster, identify offenders and remove them—not a claim that cheating can be eliminated. They were reported from a briefing; no primary recording or transcript is available to independently verify the wording.
What anti-cheat measures has MADFINGER described?
MADFINGER’s Anti-Cheat Measures page says the Winds of War update introduced Denuvo technology to make game tampering harder. The studio explicitly says this is not Denuvo DRM and that the change does not add new kernel-level anti-cheat. It has withheld further implementation details, saying that disclosure could help cheat developers adapt.

- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
This is a separately described anti-tampering measure; the studio has not said it is the “proper plan” Rabas referred to in the briefing. The public information does not establish the new plan’s technical methods, enforcement workflow or success criteria.
What enforcement has the studio documented?
In a September 18, 2026 official Steam announcement, MADFINGER said it had fixed an Update 0.4 item-duplication exploit involving deaths by helicopter. The studio said it identified close to 40 accounts as deliberate exploiters and planned temporary suspensions and account wipes. That count applies to this specific exploit investigation; it is not a total estimate of cheaters or evidence of results from the newer plan.

When will the plan arrive, and how can players report cheating?
MADFINGER’s October 1, 2026 announcement lists October 19 for the Update 0.5 Supporter Preview and October 22 for the full release. It does not give a date for the anti-cheat plan, so neither update date should be treated as its rollout schedule.
The studio asks players reporting suspected cheating to include conclusive video evidence. It has not promised a particular review time or outcome for an individual report.
