Spoilers: what Rite of Rebirth does
Do not give Greyroot the Twisted Bud unless you are ready for a major story change. This starts the separate Rite of Rebirth, infects Hornet, and leads to her waking in the Chapel of the Witch. Completing the wish leaves Greyroot petrified at her home and unable to speak.
Can the infection be cured?
