It comes in red, yellow, and blue versions; each costs 3 resources and defends for 2, but its life gain changes by color. The name also appears in unrelated tabletop RPG material and promotional copy, so those uses refer to different things.
What does Grim Feast do?
Grim Feast is a Shadow Action that can be played from your hand or, under a specific condition, from the banished zone. The official Dusk till Dawn release notes state that playing it from the banished zone reduces its resource cost by 2. It cannot be played from there while face-down.
Its printed resource cost is 3 and its defense value is 2. The card’s life gain is determined by its color: red gains 3 life, yellow gains 2, and blue gains 1. The card text also includes a Blood Debt reminder.
How do the red, yellow, and blue versions compare?
| Version | Life gained | Set number |
|---|---|---|
| Red | 3 | DTD #175 |
| Yellow | 2 | DTD #176 |
| Blue | 1 | DTD #177 |
The official Flesh and Blood card database lists all three as rare cards from Dusk till Dawn and credits the art to Ausonia. The printed cost (3), defense (2), and banished-zone restriction apply across the color versions; color changes the life gained.

Can you play Grim Feast from banished?
Yes, if it is face-up: Grim Feast may be played from the banished zone for 2 fewer resources than its printed cost. With a printed cost of 3, that means its cost is reduced by 2 when played this way. A face-down Grim Feast in banished cannot be played from there. These details are stated in the set’s official release notes, dated July 24, 2023; consult current official rules materials for tournament rulings if a later update applies.
How to find the correct Grim Feast card
Search for Flesh and Blood Grim Feast Dusk till Dawn card, then confirm the color and set number: red #175, yellow #176, or blue #177. Before purchasing, check the language, finish, and condition of the specific listing. Current stock and pricing are not established here. A sealed Dusk till Dawn product is a different purchase from a single Grim Feast card.

Other uses of the name Grim Feast
“Grim Feast” is not a unique title. A Wyrd Games character-pursuit PDF uses it for a Ghoul tactical action involving a corpse and a temporary physical-aspect condition, with wording addressed in a separate FAQ/errata document. These tabletop RPG rules are unrelated to the Flesh and Blood card.
Steam also uses “grim feast” as descriptive copy for RPG Maker MV – Survival Horror Music Pack; it is not the pack’s title. The phrase in that product description does not identify a game or card.
