The Grow a Garden Kitchen Storm update launched on August 9, 2025. Two guides published around launch reported a start time of 7:00 AM Pacific Time (10:00 AM Eastern Time). Its countdown has expired; it is no longer an upcoming update.
When did the Kitchen Storm update come out?
Kitchen Storm launched on August 9, 2025, according to the archived update log and contemporaneous reports from Beebom and TechWiser.
What time did Kitchen Storm start?
Beebom and TechWiser reported a start time of 7:00 AM Pacific Time, or 10:00 AM Eastern Time, on August 9, 2025. These are guide-reported times; the original official announcement was not available in the cited material.
Is the Kitchen Storm countdown still live?
No. Kitchen Storm is a past event, so its countdown is over. As of October 8, 2026, Roblox displayed a separate listing reading “Sat, Oct 10, 8:30 PM NEXT UPDATE???” That listing was not a Kitchen Storm timer. Roblox event listings can change, so check the Roblox Grow a Garden listing for the latest scheduled event details.

What did the Kitchen Storm update add?
The archived Update 1.18.0 entry describes a cooking expansion, including a Recipe Book for tracking discovered dishes and their ingredients. It also describes a Kitchen Storm that grants the “Aromic” mutation and can be leveled up four times by submitting food; each stage increases cooking speed. The entry also mentions cooking quality-of-life changes, new seeds and pets, and additional rewards.
The archive spells the mutation “Aromic.” The cited material does not establish whether that is the intended in-game spelling or a typo, so treat it as the archive’s wording rather than a confirmed official spelling.
