Root also described how people recognized his voice after his character appeared in the game’s marketing. GamesRadar reproduced that context and called Root the first actor to confirm involvement. Does Stephen Root voice Brian Heder?
GamesRadar identifies Root as the voice of Brian Heder, a character named on Rockstar’s official GTA VI site. However, Root’s quoted confirmation does not say “Brian Heder,” and Rockstar’s page does not credit Root. The careful distinction is that Root confirmed he is in the game; the Brian Heder attribution comes from GamesRadar’s reporting, not from the words in his quoted answer.

Who voices Lucia or Jason?
The sources reviewed do not confirm performers for Lucia or Jason. Manni L. Perez and Dylan Rourke appeared in earlier casting speculation, but a June 2026 GTA Intel explainer presented circumstantial theories rather than official credits. Voice resemblance, fan comparisons, a generic résumé entry, or an actor’s credit in an earlier game is not confirmation. Until Rockstar or a performer makes a direct confirmation, names associated with Jason or Lucia should be described as rumored, not confirmed.

What does Rockstar officially publish about the game?
Rockstar’s official page names characters including Jason and Lucia, but the cited page does not provide an actor cast list or performer credits.
