Rockstar Games presents them as a pair whose criminal partnership may also become a romance: an easy score goes wrong, a conspiracy spreads across Leonida, and they must depend on each other to survive. The official material strongly implies intimacy, but it does not call them married, engaged or an officially defined couple.
The wider cast forms a connected network of friends, employers, business partners, spouses and performers. The map below uses only relationships Rockstar has stated in its trailers and official character profiles, separating those facts from trailer-based interpretation.

Who are Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos?
Jason Duval
Jason is an ex-Army man working for drug runners in the Leonida Keys. Rockstar’s profile gives him a simple, frustrated objective: Jason wants an easy life, but things just keep getting harder.
That line explains why he is vulnerable to a partnership that promises quick money while repeatedly pulling him into larger danger.
His existing contacts place him inside Brian Heder’s local operation before the central story begins. Jason’s practical skills and willingness to handle shakedowns make him useful, but his situation is not presented as independent success. He needs a place to stay, takes work from Brian and relies on people such as Cal.
Lucia Caminos
Lucia has just left Leonida Penitentiary after spending her life fighting for her family. Rockstar does not provide a full family tree in the published material, so “family” should not be treated as a confirmed list of named relatives. Her release gives the story a clear starting pressure: she is free, but not detached from the circumstances that put her in prison.

Lucia’s profile says, A life with Jason could be her way out.
That wording makes Jason more than a temporary accomplice. It also leaves room for ambiguity: “a way out” can mean escape from poverty, crime, legal trouble or all three, rather than a promise of a peaceful domestic future.
Are Jason and Lucia officially a couple?
Rockstar has not formally labeled Jason and Lucia husband, wife or engaged. The evidence for a romantic relationship comes from the way their official profiles describe one another and from the story setup in Trailer 1. Jason’s profile says, Meeting Lucia could be the best or worst thing to ever happen to him.
Lucia’s says a life with Jason could be her way out. Trailer 1, released on December 4, 2023, shows an easy score going wrong and states that the pair are forced to rely on each other while a criminal conspiracy expands across Leonida.
Rank #2
Together, those details establish mutual dependence and a relationship that is emotionally closer than a routine business partnership. They do not establish a legal status or guarantee that the romance will remain stable. The most accurate description is partners with a strong, deliberate romantic implication. Calling them a confirmed married couple, or claiming that Rockstar has announced an engagement, goes beyond the published information.
Jason’s friends and associates
Cal Hampton: Jason’s friend
Cal is the clearest personal connection in Jason’s pre-existing circle. Rockstar describes him as Jason’s friend and a fellow associate of Brian’s, Cal feels safest hanging at home…
His paranoia is specific rather than generic: he snoops on Coast Guard communications and prefers the security of his own space.

He is emotionally connected to Jason, yet he is also tied to Brian’s criminal business. The official material does not say that Cal is Jason’s employee, relative or romantic partner; “friend” is the published term.
Brian Heder: landlord, employer and criminal contact
Brian is still moving product with his third wife, Lori. He lets Jason stay rent-free at one of his properties if Jason handles local shakedowns and visits Lori. Rockstar summarizes the arrangement this way: Brian’s letting Jason live rent-free at one of his properties…
The arrangement matters because it is both generous and transactional. Jason receives housing, but the price is labor and access to Brian’s household. A rent-free room does not make Jason a member of Brian’s family, and the official description does not call him a formal partner in Brian’s wider enterprise.

Lori Heder: Brian’s wife
Lori is identified as Brian’s third wife and as someone involved in his current product-moving operation. The published material does not provide biographies for Brian’s previous marriages or explain Lori’s personal history, so those gaps should not be filled with trailer speculation. Her confirmed connection is to Brian and the business they are running together.

Who are Boobie Ike and Dre’Quan Priest?
Boobie Ike
Boobie Ike has built an empire spanning real estate, a strip club and a recording studio. Rockstar says his most important current investment is his partnership with Dre’Quan at Only Raw Records. He therefore connects several parts of Leonida’s economy: property, nightlife and music.
Dre’Quan Priest
Dre’Quan works inside Boobie’s business network but is trying to move beyond booking acts into Boobie’s strip club. His decisive step is signing Real Dimez to Only Raw Records. Rockstar writes, Now that he’s signed the Real Dimez, Dre’Quan’s days of booking acts into Boobie’s strip club might be numbered…
That sentence describes a career transition, not a break with Boobie. Dre’Quan remains a business partner in Only Raw Records while his new signing could give him more independence and a different role in the music operation.
Who are Real Dimez?
Real Dimez is the performing name for Bae-Luxe and Roxy. Rockstar says the two women have been friends since high school. They turn local hustles into income through spicy rap tracks and social media, making their act both a music project and a business built around their public presence.
Rank #4
Their relationship is therefore established on two levels: Bae-Luxe and Roxy are longstanding friends, and they operate as a duo. Dre’Quan’s contract places them inside Only Raw Records, linking their independent hustle to Boobie and Dre’Quan’s label. No official material identifies either performer as Jason’s or Lucia’s relative, partner or employer.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How the criminal, property and music networks connect
The confirmed relationships reveal several overlapping spheres rather than one single gang hierarchy.
- Jason and Lucia: the central partnership, moving through a conspiracy that reaches across Leonida.
- Brian, Lori, Cal and Jason: a local criminal circle built around product, shakedowns, housing and personal access.
- Boobie and Dre’Quan: a business alliance that links real estate, nightlife and a record label.
- Dre’Quan and Real Dimez: a label contract that turns the duo’s social-media-driven hustles into a formal music opportunity.
The published material does not state that Jason’s crew reports to Boobie, that Lucia works for Only Raw Records or that Brian and Boobie are business partners. The networks may intersect during the game, but those particular connections remain unannounced.
Official chronology and what the trailers establish
- December 4, 2023 — Trailer 1: the first dated trailer presents Jason and Lucia’s failed easy score and the need to rely on one another as a conspiracy spreads across Leonida.
- May 6, 2025 — Trailer 2: the second dated trailer is the latest chronology point identified in the official material considered here. Its existence does not, by itself, create a new family tie, marriage status or complete cast relationship chart.
- Official character profiles: Rockstar’s published biographies supply the precise descriptions of Jason, Lucia, Cal, Brian, Boobie, Dre’Quan and Real Dimez used in this map.
Dates matter because trailers are snapshots. A character can change allegiance or circumstance during the story, but a later plot development should not be presented as confirmed until Rockstar publishes it.

Safe conclusions
- Jason and Lucia are the two central protagonists.
- Their partnership is close, mutually dependent and intentionally framed with romantic language.
- Cal is Jason’s friend and Brian’s fellow associate.
- Brian houses Jason in exchange for local criminal work and visits to Lori.
- Brian and Lori are married and continue moving product.
- Boobie and Dre’Quan are partners in Only Raw Records.
- Dre’Quan signs Bae-Luxe and Roxy, who perform as Real Dimez.
- Bae-Luxe and Roxy have been friends since high school.
Claims that remain unconfirmed
- That Jason and Lucia are married, engaged or guaranteed to stay together.
- That any unnamed family member is connected to the protagonists’ criminal contacts.
- That Brian, Boobie or another established character outranks the others in overall gameplay importance.
- That every visible trailer character belongs to one of the networks described above.
- That a trailer scene alone proves a permanent alliance, betrayal or romance without supporting Rockstar text.
Who is most important?
For story roles, Jason and Lucia are the protagonists. Cal, Brian and Lori occupy the associate and household side of Jason’s world. Boobie and Dre’Quan represent the property, nightlife and label-business network, while Real Dimez are performers whose contract gives that network a rising act.
Those categories describe published roles, not a ranking of mission time, playable characters or eventual influence. Rockstar has not announced statistics that would justify saying one supporting character is more important than another.
