TeaserPlay published the video on July 28, 2022, as a fan-made Unreal Engine 5 concept showcase, and says it has no plans to release it as a game. Its striking city scenes are speculative visuals, not confirmation of GTA VI’s map or technology.
What the video is—and what it is not
TeaserPlay describes the video as a concept made to demonstrate Unreal Engine 5 and imagine environments that might appear in a future Grand Theft Auto. The creator’s own disclaimer is explicit: “This is not a Game, it’s just a Concept (Fan-Made) trailer to show the power of Unreal Engine 5 and we have no plans to release this”. TeaserPlay’s original video and description are the source for its date, intent, credits, and disclaimer.
That makes “GTA 6 fan-made 4K concept trailer” a useful description, but not an indication that the video is official, playable, or a leaked build. It is a visual exercise. TeaserPlay credits Tav Shande and Brushify and thanks Archviz; those credits do not imply Rockstar involvement or endorsement.
What the concept trailer shows
HotHardware’s July 29, 2022 scene-by-scene account describes a tour through Vice City, San Fierro, Las Venturas, and Liberty City, in that order. They are locations depicted in this fan concept, not a verified list of GTA VI locations. HotHardware’s report also calls out a Las Venturas high-rise apartment interior: the camera moves across carpet toward a kitchen island with vegetables and pasta.

These scenes make the video appealing as an imagined city showcase, but they should be read as individual visual set pieces rather than evidence of a finished game world. Rockstar’s official GTA VI page—not a fan render—is the appropriate source for confirmed setting and official media: Rockstar Games: Grand Theft Auto VI.
Which Unreal Engine 5 features does TeaserPlay name?
The creator says it used “ray tracing, lumen, Nanite, Screen Space Reflections and Metahuman” to make the graphics resemble a next-generation sandbox game. This is TeaserPlay’s description of its production, not an independent technical audit of the video. The wording and capitalization above follow the creator’s description, including its original spelling.

- Play as Dani Rojas, a local Yaran, as you fight alongside a modern-day guerrilla revolution to liberate Yara
- Fight against Castillo’s regime in the most expansive Far Cry to date, through jungles, beaches, and Esperanza, the capital city of Yara
- Employ an arsenal of resolver weapons, backpacks, and vehicles to take down Castillo’s ruthless regime.
The use of UE5 in this fan showcase does not establish that Rockstar’s GTA VI uses Unreal Engine. The cited material does not verify the official game’s production engine, so the concept should not be used to infer one.
