A Reddit user says they emailed Rockstar Games asking for a Grand Theft Auto VI poster and later received one at their home in Brazil, shipped from New York. It is a personal account, not a Rockstar announcement: the package, poster’s official status and responder’s role have not been independently verified.
What the fan says happened
In a Reddit post published September 30, 2026, user aogustoo described sending Rockstar a “shot-in-the-dark” email asking for “a poster for my room.” The user says they expected either an automated response or no reply, but received an answer and a poster shipped from the company’s New York office to Brazil. They wrote, “Definitely framing this right now!” The post reportedly includes images of the poster and shipping label, with identifying details blurred.

Those details are the poster’s account. The available material does not independently authenticate the images or shipment, or establish that the poster is official Rockstar merchandise.
What is—and is not—confirmed
- Confirmed as a Reddit post: The user publicly described requesting a GTA VI poster and receiving a shipment in Brazil.
- Not independently confirmed: Whether the package came from Rockstar, whether the poster is official, and who handled the request.
- Unverified job description: The author called the responder an executive, but the person’s identity and role are not established.
- No stated fan-mail program: Rockstar’s official GTA VI page does not corroborate this personal shipment or identify a poster-request policy.
Is this something other fans can request?
The post describes an individual act the author regarded as rare kindness. It does not show that Rockstar operates a poster-request program or that similar requests are likely to receive a response. The author also asked readers not to flood the company’s inbox.
