The reported surprise was a ratings-and-reviews section appearing on GTA VI’s PlayStation 5 Store page—not a new trailer or announcement from Rockstar Games. GizChina reported the change on October 10, 2025, and described it as part of a broader PlayStation Store feature rollout. Its report does not establish whether the feature is still available or how widely it has since rolled out.
What appeared on GTA VI’s PlayStation Store page?
GizChina reported that a ratings-and-reviews section had appeared on the game’s PlayStation 5 Store page. The article described review controls including spoiler warnings and filters for relevance, date, or usefulness. Those details reflect the report’s description at publication, not independently confirmed current behavior. GizChina’s October 10, 2025 report
Was it a GTA 6 announcement?
No announcement was reported alongside the Store-page change. GizChina attributed the feature to a broader PlayStation Store update that included pages for unreleased games, rather than to a GTA VI-specific reveal. A review section appearing on a Store page, on its own, does not show that Rockstar planned to announce anything.
The report noted that some fans hoped the change signaled a reveal, while others saw it as unrelated to the game. That interpretation was speculation; the article reported no new Rockstar teaser or announcement connected to the page.
