Has Rockstar released the GTA 6 map? Not as a readable, standalone full-map image in the material currently available. Rockstar has officially introduced the state of Leonida and its destinations, while secondary reporting says the Goodtime State – Vice City Collection includes a physical poster showing Leonida. That keeps maps central to the game’s presentation, but it is not the same as publishing an official downloadable map for everyone to inspect.
What Rockstar has officially shown about GTA 6’s map
Rockstar’s official GTA VI presentation places the game in Leonida, a state that includes the neon-heavy Vice City and surrounding regions. The company describes the setting as “Home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond,” presenting the state as more than a single urban area.

The official rollout names destinations and characters through its “Only in Leonida” material, but naming a place does not reveal its exact borders, road network or final position on a complete game-world map. Promotional images can establish that a landscape or landmark exists without proving where it sits in relation to every other location.

The six headline regions currently associated with Leonida
- Vice City: the major urban setting and the most prominent location shown in the game’s marketing.
- Leonida Keys: an island-chain destination identified in the reported regional breakdown.
- Grassrivers: a named wetland-style region in Leonida’s broader geography.
- Port Gellhorn: a separate destination listed in the rollout coverage.
- Ambrosia: another named area included in the reported regional list.
- Mount Kalaga: the mountainous destination identified alongside the other regions.
These names are useful anchors for discussing the setting. They should not be treated as confirmation of a finished official road map or of precise boundaries between regions.

Is there an official, readable GTA 6 map yet?
The available material does not establish that Rockstar has published a readable standalone map of the entire game world. Screenshots, trailers and location pages communicate the setting, but they are not a substitute for a map image that clearly shows roads, coastlines, region borders and points of interest.
That distinction matters because online map claims often combine confirmed promotional details with interpretation. A map can look authoritative while still containing guessed roads, inferred coastlines or locations positioned from visual clues alone.

How to judge official information versus fan reconstruction

An official place name does not make a fan-drawn border official, and a recognizable building does not prove its final coordinates.

Will GTA 6 have a full map poster?
Secondary reporting says the Goodtime State – Vice City Collection includes a souvenir poster with a full Leonida map on its reverse. This is the clearest reported continuation of the series’ physical map tradition, but the poster should be described as reported collection content until the live product listing confirms the contents.

It also should not be confused with a freely downloadable map. A poster bundled with a physical collection would be a retail artifact; it would not automatically mean Rockstar has released a high-resolution digital map for public use. Check the current collection page for the edition, format, availability and exact contents before buying or making a definitive claim.
What the map tradition means for players
Printed maps have historically made a game world feel tangible before and after launch. For GTA VI, a physical Leonida poster would give players a reference for the state’s named destinations while preserving some mystery around the roads and points of interest that Rockstar has not displayed publicly.

Until Rockstar publishes a complete map, the most reliable approach is to label every claim by its source: official setting information, something visibly shown in marketing, or a community theory. That prevents an attractive reconstruction from being mistaken for a confirmed leak.

Rockstar’s official GTA VI page currently lists a November 19, 2026 release date for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Release information can change, so confirm the date and platforms on Rockstar’s page when planning a purchase or discussing which edition may include the reported poster.
