Rockstar has previewed six GTA 6 radio stations: Cocoteo, Back Country, Afro Bank FM, The Chamber, Flash FM, and Dirty South Classics. Their announced styles cover modern Latin, renegade country, Amapiano and other African dance sounds, metal, pop, and regional rap and hip-hop classics. Rockstar has also named on-air personalities for every preview. These are not yet a confirmed complete station list: Rockstar says the wider radio and podcast lineup reaches from Classic Rock to Talk Radio, but it has not disclosed a final station count or full playlists.
What radio stations are in GTA 6?
Rockstar’s official GTA VI music announcement, identified in its site listings as an October 8, 2026 announcement and accessed October 13, presents six station previews. Those previews are the most concrete comparison available before launch, because each has a station name, a short style description, and named presenters. They establish the musical direction of those stations, not every song that will play.

The publisher describes the overall selection as spanning “everything from Classic Rock to Talk Radio” and calls it the biggest and widest-ranging selection of in-game radio and podcasts yet. That sentence is Rockstar’s promotional characterization rather than a published inventory. No complete roster, station-by-station track count, airtime split, or listener ranking has been released with the previews.
Read the six names below as confirmed previews. Additional stations, podcasts, hosts, or more detailed playlist information may be announced separately.

GTA 6 radio stations: quick comparison
| Station | Rockstar’s stated style | Named DJ or host | Most useful comparison |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cocoteo | Modern Latin | El Martillo; La Gata | Contemporary Latin identity, reinforced by a Spanish party slogan |
| Back Country | Renegade country | MW; Delta Dawne | Rural-Leonida country framing with an “airboat-ready” tone |
| Afro Bank FM | Amapiano, African classics, 3-step, and more | Burna; Palmsy | The broadest explicitly cross-regional and dance-focused description |
| The Chamber | Metal | DJ Kerry; DJ Tom | The confirmed heavy-music option, promoted as crushing metal |
| Flash FM | Pop | Robyn; Alex | A returning Vice City institution built around “guaranteed grooves” |
| Dirty South Classics | Regional rap and hip-hop classics | Trick; Trina | Southern rap history presented through regional classics |
Terms such as “airboat-ready,” “crushing,” and “guaranteed grooves” are promotional flavor. They help communicate mood, but they are not technical subgenre definitions or evidence of a particular song list.
Station-by-station: what each preview tells you
Cocoteo: modern Latin and an all-night party premise
Cocoteo is Rockstar’s modern Latin station. Its official Spanish tagline, “El party que nunca se apaga,” positions it as a continuously energetic celebration rather than a specialist archive or talk format. That makes it the clearest preview for listeners looking for current Latin-oriented programming in Leonida.
The two named voices, El Martillo and La Gata, confirm that Cocoteo has an on-air identity built around presenters rather than being described only as a music stream. Rockstar has not explained whether either person is a fictional DJ, a guest personality, or a performer with a separate role in the story, so the names should be treated simply as the announced station presenters.
Back Country: renegade country for rural Leonida
Back Country is labeled “renegade country,” a phrase that suggests an outlaw or independent attitude instead of a narrowly defined chart category. Rockstar’s “airboat-ready” wording ties the station to the wetlands, back roads, and rural side of Leonida, giving it a strong environmental frame.
MW and Delta Dawne are the two named voices. The announcement does not identify their musical specialties or indicate how much of the broadcast will be dialogue versus songs. It also does not establish whether “renegade” means a specific period, regional scene, or production style; it is safest to read it as the station’s attitude and setting cue.
Afro Bank FM: the widest stated blend of dance traditions
Afro Bank FM is described with three specific components—Amapiano, African classics, and 3-step—followed by “and more.” Of the six previews, this is the most explicitly broad and cross-regional description. Amapiano points to a South African dance tradition, “African classics” opens the door to older influential material, and 3-step signals a newer club-oriented direction. Rockstar is deliberately presenting a range rather than a single narrow genre box.
Burna and Palmsy are the named presenters. Because no track list or proportion for each component is published, you cannot use the description to predict how many Amapiano songs will appear, which countries will be represented, or whether the station will favor classic or contemporary recordings. The reliable conclusion is that Afro Bank FM is designed as a dance-focused, geographically expansive station.

The Chamber is the only preview explicitly identified as metal. Rockstar calls it “crushing metal,” which signals an intentionally heavy presentation and separates it from the game’s pop, country, Latin, and rap previews. The description does not specify subgenres such as thrash, doom, death, black, progressive, or metalcore, nor does it identify an era or country of origin.
DJ Kerry and DJ Tom are the two announced on-air names. Their presence confirms a hosted station, but Rockstar has not released their fictional biographies, broadcast schedules, or any band list. If you are choosing by intensity, The Chamber is the clearest match; if you need a particular metal subgenre, there is not enough official information to make that finer distinction.
Flash FM: pop continuity with Vice City history
Flash FM returns as a Vice City institution and is centered on pop and “guaranteed grooves.” The station’s significance is therefore both musical and fictional: it connects GTA 6 to the established Vice City radio identity while promising broadly accessible, groove-led programming.
Robyn and Alex are the named presenters. Rockstar has not said whether Flash FM’s GTA 6 incarnation continues a specific earlier playlist, updates the format for a new period, or mixes both approaches. The confirmed fact is the pop designation and the station’s returning name, not a guaranteed set of legacy songs.

Dirty South Classics: regional rap and hip-hop history
Dirty South Classics is framed around regional rap and hip-hop classics. That wording emphasizes Southern musical history and regional identity rather than contemporary rap alone. It should appeal to players who want a station organized around influential or recognizable Southern material, although Rockstar has not defined the time span or the cities included in “regional.”

Trick and Trina are the two named voices. No announcement says whether “classics” refers to a fixed historical period, a canon selected by the presenters, or a mixture of older and newer recordings. The preview supports a Southern rap-and-hip-hop focus, but not a complete artist or song list.
Who are the GTA 6 radio DJs?
Rockstar has named at least two presenters for each of the six previews:
| Station | Announced presenters |
|---|---|
| Cocoteo | El Martillo and La Gata |
| Back Country | MW and Delta Dawne |
| Afro Bank FM | Burna and Palmsy |
| The Chamber | DJ Kerry and DJ Tom |
| Flash FM | Robyn and Alex |
| Dirty South Classics | Trick and Trina |
The page does not provide biographies, real-world performer credits, broadcast times, or evidence that these are the complete host lists. “DJ” is used informally here for the on-air personalities Rockstar names; the announcement does not spell out each person’s exact role.

The safest way to compare the styles is by how specific Rockstar’s wording is. Five previews are presented with a relatively compact center of gravity: modern Latin, renegade country, metal, pop, or regional rap and hip-hop classics. Afro Bank FM is more expansive because Rockstar lists multiple traditions and adds “and more.” That difference describes the promotional scope of each station, not a measured variety score.
There are no published track counts, rotation rules, song lengths, regional quotas, or airtime percentages. You therefore cannot accurately rank the stations by variety or claim that one has more songs than another. A short genre label may cover a large playlist, while a broad label may still have a tightly curated rotation.

No. Rockstar separately presents Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, described as containing 34 original tracks. The album is a distinct soundtrack product and is not a station playlist. Rockstar’s selected singles include:

| Track | Credited artists |
|---|---|
| “That’s It” | Yung Lean, featuring Future and Metro Boomin |
| “RHYNO” | Travis Scott |
| “Sexy Magic” | CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, Pink Pantheress, Fred again.. and Etienne de Crécy |

| “Suzuki” | Fuerza Regida |

Those eight songs are selected singles from the separately described 34-track album. Rockstar’s page does not confirm that any of them plays on Cocoteo, Flash FM, or another in-game station. Do not assign a single to a station based only on its artist, language, or apparent genre.

The same page says the album is “Coming November 19” and presents vinyl and CD preorder destinations. That date and the physical-edition details are release information for the album product, not evidence about radio programming, and should be rechecked if plans change.
How to choose a station by listening goal
Until full playlists arrive, the previews support a practical first-choice guide:
| If you want… | Start with… | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Current Latin energy | Cocoteo | Rockstar explicitly labels it modern Latin and gives it a nonstop-party slogan. |
| Country with a rebellious rural mood | Back Country | “Renegade country” and the airboat-ready framing point to that setting. |
| Pan-African dance variety | Afro Bank FM | Its description names Amapiano, African classics, 3-step, and additional sounds. |
| Heavy guitar-driven music | The Chamber | It is the only preview explicitly identified as metal. |
| Mainstream pop and Vice City continuity | Flash FM | It is the returning pop institution with a groove-focused promise. |
| Southern rap and hip-hop history | Dirty South Classics | The station is specifically organized around regional classics. |
This is a format-based starting point, not a prediction of exact songs. Once Rockstar publishes complete playlists, individual artists and tracks may change how well a station fits your taste.
What remains unknown about GTA 6 radio
- The total number of radio stations and podcasts.
- Whether the six previews represent all music stations or only the first group Rockstar chose to showcase.
- Complete station playlists, song rotation, track counts, and airtime.
- Detailed biographies, voices, or schedules for the named presenters.
- Which, if any, of the 34 album tracks also appear in game radio.
- The exact boundaries of broad labels such as “renegade,” “classics,” and “and more.”
Rockstar’s broad Classic Rock-to-Talk Radio statement means the final lineup should be wider than the six genres listed here, but it does not justify naming unannounced stations or treating the preview table as exhaustive. The most accurate pre-release description is therefore: six officially previewed stations, a wider but undisclosed radio-and-podcast roster, and a separate 34-track album.
