No. Grand Theft Auto VI is not currently scheduled for Fall 2025. Take-Two Interactive announced on June 24, 2026 that the game is planned to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. That is the latest official date available as of October 8, 2026, and it remains subject to change.
What happened to the Fall 2025 release window?
Fall 2025 was an earlier expectation, not the current schedule. On May 2, 2025, Take-Two said Grand Theft Auto VI, which had been expected in Fall 2025, was then planned for May 26, 2026. Take-Two later announced a new date: November 19, 2026.

No. Rockstar describes the physical product as a code in a box: it contains a download code, not a disc. Rockstar lists the boxed version as available on November 12, 2026 to support preload; digital preload also begins at local midnight that day. If you specifically want a disc, the announced boxed offer does not provide one.

Code compatibility depends on platform and region. Rockstar says PlayStation codes are associated with a region and recommends buying from a retailer in the same country as the PlayStation account to avoid activation problems. Xbox codes are listed as not region-locked. Rockstar’s preorder information also identifies official storefronts and country availability, so check the listing for your location before purchasing.
