Grand Theft Auto VI launches November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, according to Rockstar’s current listing and Take-Two’s June 24, 2026 announcement. The latest official video is not a third numbered trailer: Rockstar released an extended look on August 27, 2026. The physical Standard Edition is a box with a download code, not a disc.
When does GTA 6 come out, and what platforms are confirmed?
Rockstar’s current store listing and Take-Two’s June 24, 2026 announcement give the release date as November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The May 2025 Trailer 2 announcement had given May 26, 2026; the later November date supersedes it. See Rockstar’s GTA VI listing and Take-Two’s announcement.

What is the latest GTA 6 trailer or video?
Rockstar’s official store listing displays Trailer 1 and Trailer 2. Rockstar’s next named video release was an extended look, not a numbered Trailer 3. The publisher says the footage in Trailer 2 was captured on PS5, and describes the August 2026 extended look as captured entirely from in-game footage on PS5; these are publisher statements, not independent testing.

What is GTA 6 about?
Rockstar and Take-Two describe the story as following Jason and Lucia, drawn into a criminal conspiracy across the state of Leonida after an easy score goes wrong.
