When did GTA 6 Trailer 2 come out?
Rockstar Games released the second Grand Theft Auto VI trailer on May 6, 2025. The date is confirmed by Rockstar’s official Trailer 2 page and Take-Two’s announcement.
Rockstar says the trailer was captured entirely in-game on PlayStation 5 and is made up of equal parts gameplay and cutscenes. That is the company’s description of the video, rather than an independent breakdown of its footage.

GameSpot reported in May 2025 that Rockstar told The Hollywood Reporter Trailer 2 received 475 million views across platforms on its first day. It is a company-reported cross-platform aggregate—not the view count for the official YouTube upload alone. GameSpot’s report provides that attribution.
The figures describe different scopes and time windows: 475 million is the reported first-day total across platforms; 182,974,405 was the official YouTube upload’s lifetime counter on October 8, 2026. They should not be treated as competing counts of the same thing.

How fast did the YouTube trailer reach 55 million?
