What to check before you place a Rockstar Store order
Three questions determine whether an order is practical: can Rockstar deliver to your destination, what is the complete landed cost, and what happens if the item is damaged or you change your mind? Rockstar’s regional-shipping article, updated October 7, 2025, provides the supported-country list. The checkout page then calculates the available shipping services, their prices and an estimated duration. Those estimates depend on the option selected; Rockstar does not publish one universal delivery-time statistic.

Rockstar states, “Costs of shipping for your order will be presented at checkout.” That means a shipping price seen on a different product, in a different currency or on an earlier order is not a reliable quote for your basket.

Where Rockstar says it ships
The October 7, 2025 regional-shipping page lists these destinations. Eligibility can change, so check the live page and your checkout address rather than relying on an old screenshot or a third-party listing.

If your country is not listed, do not assume that a freight forwarder, alternate currency selector or marketplace seller is covered by Rockstar’s store policy. A forwarded parcel can have different taxes, warranty handling and return logistics, and the store may be unable to investigate an address outside its delivery network.
How shipping prices and delivery estimates work
Choose the service at checkout
Once you enter a supported delivery address, checkout presents the shipping methods Rockstar makes available for that order. The price and estimated duration vary by option. Product availability, warehouse location, destination and the contents of the basket can affect which services appear. Record the selected service and its promised estimate in your confirmation email; it is the most useful reference if the parcel is late.
Do not treat the estimate as a guaranteed arrival date
Rockstar’s published policy describes duration as dependent on the selected shipping option, not as a guaranteed date. An estimate can also exclude order-processing time, weekends, public holidays, customs clearance or a carrier’s last-mile delay. The official pages do not provide a single “ships in X days” figure that applies to every country or product.

Items in one order do not necessarily travel together. Rockstar’s tracking guidance says some orders ship in multiple boxes, each with its own tracking number. A shirt, collectible and game can therefore show different movement or delivery dates without one parcel being missing. Compare the item list with each tracking record before reporting a shortage.

International customs, VAT and other import charges
Why the checkout total may not be the final cost
Rockstar warns, “Additional duties and taxes may be imposed by local authorities outside the US and UK.” The charge can be assessed by the destination country rather than by Rockstar. Depending on local rules, that can include import duty, VAT or GST, customs-processing or brokerage fees, and a carrier’s disbursement charge. The official store pages do not guarantee that these amounts are prepaid for every country.
What to verify before paying
- Check whether checkout displays a tax, duty or import-fee line in addition to the product and shipping prices.
- Look up your customs authority’s rules for the destination country: low-value thresholds, VAT/GST treatment, prohibited or restricted goods, and who must pay the carrier.
- Confirm the currency and payment deadline for any assessment. A carrier may hold a parcel until the charge is paid.
- Budget for a possible charge even when checkout does not show one, unless the store explicitly says the amount is collected in advance.
Rules differ by destination and can change. A US or UK order is not evidence that the same basket will be duty-free elsewhere. If the checkout page is silent, treat the tax treatment as uncertain and ask the destination customs authority or carrier for the applicable process.
Common customs failure modes
- Parcel held for payment: use the carrier’s instructions and pay by the stated deadline; retain the receipt.
- Unexpected brokerage fee: ask whether the amount is a government tax, a carrier disbursement fee or both. Those are separate charges and may have different dispute routes.
- Address or documentation mismatch: contact the carrier promptly. Do not ask Rockstar to alter a customs declaration without a specific support instruction.
- Refusal or abandonment: declining delivery can create return-to-sender and refund complications. Review the returns FAQ before taking that step.
How to track a Rockstar Store order
Use the shipping-confirmation email
Rockstar’s tracking article, updated May 19, 2026, says: “When your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a link to track your package.” The link normally becomes useful after the carrier scans the parcel. An order confirmation proves that the purchase was placed; it is not the same as a dispatch notice.

If the order is split, the email or order record can contain separate tracking links. Open each one and match its status to the products in your basket. One package may be delivered while another is still in transit or awaiting customs clearance.

If no movement appears
- Search your inbox and spam folder for the shipping-confirmation message.
- Verify that you are using the carrier link from the confirmation email, not an unrelated tracking site.
- Allow for the carrier’s first physical scan; a label can exist before the parcel enters the network.
- Check whether another box has a different tracking number.
- If the estimated window has passed, contact Rockstar support with the order number, delivery address, all tracking numbers and the date of purchase.
Keep screenshots of status changes and delivery exceptions. They help distinguish a carrier delay from a missing item and support a later claim.
Returns, refunds and damaged merchandise
The support article does not state a universal return window
Rockstar’s returns-and-refunds support article, updated October 3, 2024, directs customers to a separate Refunds and Returns FAQ rather than reproducing the substantive rules. Because the applicable period and conditions can depend on the product and buyer’s jurisdiction, do not assume a universal 30-day period, a free return label, an exchange right or a particular refund method.
Read the linked Refunds and Returns FAQ immediately before ordering and again before sending anything back. Follow its instructions for authorization, packaging, address, time limits and evidence. The live FAQ is the controlling source if its terms differ from an older support article or your recollection.

Preserve evidence
- Order confirmation and order number.
- Payment record showing the date and amount.
- Photos of damaged packaging, shipping labels and the product before repacking.
- All tracking numbers and delivery scans.
- Copies of support messages and any return authorization.
For an international return, ask who is responsible for return postage, customs paperwork and any import charges on the way back. Do not ship an item to an address found elsewhere on the internet; use the route and address specified by Rockstar support.

What the GTA VI physical edition means for buyers
The official GTA VI pre-order FAQ confirms a boxed physical version containing a download code. It also says support for physical orders is handled through the listed Rockstar Store purchase-support route. A “physical” purchase therefore includes a box but may require an internet connection and a platform account to redeem the code; check the product page for the platform and any regional requirements before paying.
The FAQ also repeats that shipping duration depends on the checkout option and that a multi-box order can have separate tracking numbers. Do not infer a release-day arrival, a particular carrier or a specific region’s code compatibility from the existence of the boxed edition alone.

A marketplace’s promise is governed by that seller and platform, not automatically by Rockstar’s store policy. Keep the listing, seller name and checkout terms if you need to dispute a charge.
International-order checklist
- Verify that the destination is on Rockstar’s current supported-region list.
- Add the exact product and confirm the edition, platform and language or region notes.
- Compare the available shipping options, prices and estimated durations at checkout.
- Inspect every tax or duty line and identify amounts that may still be collected on delivery.
- Check your customs authority for thresholds, VAT/GST, restricted goods, brokerage and payment deadlines.
- Read the current Refunds and Returns FAQ for the product and your jurisdiction.
- Save the confirmation, payment record and a screenshot of the checkout total.
- When the dispatch email arrives, save every tracking number, including numbers for additional boxes.
- Photograph damage before opening or discarding packaging.
- If a problem persists, contact Rockstar support with complete order, address, payment and tracking information.
Practical answers to the questions buyers ask most
Does Rockstar ship to my country?
Only destinations on the current regional list are explicitly supported. Check the list and then test your address at checkout; do not rely on an old country selector or a third-party claim.
Will I pay customs or VAT?
Outside the United States and United Kingdom, local authorities may impose additional duties and taxes. Checkout may or may not show an estimate, so verify destination rules and budget for a possible payment on delivery.
How long does Rockstar shipping take?
The estimate depends on the shipping option selected at checkout. Rockstar does not publish one universal delivery time, and customs or carrier handling can add time.
How do I track a Rockstar order?
Use the tracking link in the shipping-confirmation email. Check each tracking number separately when the order ships in multiple boxes.
