As of October 8, 2026, Rockstar’s latest listed GTA Online Newswire announcement is the October Halloween event: a limited-time schedule of activities, rotating rewards and bonus payouts, not a newly announced large-scale DLC expansion. The latest substantial DLC content in Rockstar’s PC update notes is The Kortz Center Heist, added July 16 in Title Update 1.73. Both are downloadable in-game content, but they are different kinds of updates—and PC Enhanced and Legacy support is not identical for every feature.

“Update” can mean a seasonal live event, a major addition such as a Heist, or later patches that add smaller content and fix issues. Title Update 1.73 includes the Kortz Center content as well as later August additions and fixes, including Random Transform Races, the Pegassi Horus, and Heist fixes. The current Halloween event is a separate, temporary schedule of activities and bonuses.
Is the GTA Online DLC free on PC?
Rockstar describes the Halloween activities and Kortz Center Heist as GTA Online content, rather than a separately priced expansion. The Heist does have an in-game property requirement: players need to own a Mansion and purchase an Art Studio for it. The official notes do not state a separate price for the update or Art Studio, so there is no supported basis here for quoting a cost.

Do not confuse this with the separate free GTAV Enhanced PC upgrade announced in 2025. Rockstar said that upgrade would be free to existing PC owners of GTAV; it was an edition upgrade, not the latest GTA Online DLC. See Rockstar’s March 2025 pre-load announcement for that historical offer.
What’s included in the Kortz Center Heist?
Added July 16, 2026, in Title Update 1.73, the Heist centers on stealing artworks from the Kortz Center. Players complete Prep Missions before the Finale. Rockstar says it can be completed by one to four players. The stolen works can be sold for profit or displayed in the player’s owned Mansion.

Rockstar’s Title Update 1.73 notes list the update for PC Enhanced and Legacy. However, some associated Career Progress challenges are available only on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and GTAV Enhanced on PC. The platform listing for the update should not be read as a promise that every feature or challenge works the same way in both PC editions.
What are the October 2026 Halloween activities and rewards?
Rockstar’s October 1 announcement lists roaming Slashers, Ludendorff Cemetery Survival, Ghosts Exposed, Halloween Featured Series, Slasher and San Andreas Super Sport Series. These event bonuses and unlocks are time-limited; they are not permanent features unlocked simply by downloading a patch.

Rockstar’s Title Update 1.73 page is headed for PC (Enhanced/Legacy) and includes the Kortz Center update. Its notes separately identify some Heist Career Progress challenges as available on GTAV Enhanced for PC, but not Legacy. Check the specific feature in the notes if you are choosing between editions or troubleshooting access.

- This Certified Refurbished product is tested and certified to look and work like new. The refurbishing process includes functionality testing, basic cleaning, inspection, and repackaging. The product ships with all relevant accessories, a minimum 90-day warranty, and may arrive in a generic box.
For context, the earlier Title Update 1.72 notes covered A Safehouse in the Hills, including Mansion properties, missions, vehicles and the Mission Creator, along with PC Enhanced and Legacy fixes. That is earlier update context, not the newest substantial DLC identified here.
