What happens in the October 6 gameplay walkthrough?
As described by Siliconera’s October 6, 2026 report, Nazuna assigns the player character a task near Mars. The Stellarvane’s crew wants to land, but hostiles are in the way; the footage then moves into combat as the player fights to secure the landing.
The sequence gives the trailer a clear mission frame: briefing, objective and engagement. It shows one part of the planned game, not enough to establish how missions generally unfold or how much variety the full campaign will offer.
What gameplay ideas does the footage and publisher describe?
Mobility and attacks
Bandai Namco describes the game as high-mobility action, with attacks on the ground and in the air, alongside weapons and skills. The Mars sequence provides combat footage in that context. These are publisher descriptions of the planned game, not a substitute for hands-on testing of the finished release. Bandai Namco Europe’s announcement also mentions bosses.

Customization
The publisher says players can customize their mobile suits with parts, Apocalypse Units, colors and loadouts. The US PlayStation listing also advertises a preorder bonus: early unlock of Earth Blue Color Customization. That is a page-displayed offer, not confirmation that the color is exclusive to preorders. An enthusiastic narration

When does Gundam Rogue Orbit release, and where can you play it?
The official PlayStation release-date trailer description, published September 3, 2026, announces a March 5, 2027 launch. The date is scheduled, not a guarantee that it cannot change. The official PlayStation release-date trailer description says, “GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT launches on March 5th, 2027!”
Bandai Namco Europe lists the game for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The June 5, 2026 PlayStation announcement trailer described the game as coming in 2027, before the later date announcement. Bandai Namco’s platform announcement and PlayStation’s announcement trailer provide those details. The sources establish platform availability, not comparative performance.

What does the US PlayStation listing say about editions and online play?
The US PlayStation Store page lists a PS5 version, Standard and Deluxe editions, preorder availability and a $59.99 price. These are details shown on that regional storefront and may change; they do not establish pricing in other regions or final purchase terms. The surfaced page details do not provide a reliable full comparison of Standard and Deluxe contents.
