The reveal trailer, listed by IGN, runs 26 seconds and was published October 5, 2026.
What’s included in the Halloween 5 DLC drop?
IllFonic’s announcement describes the October 27 release as an early post-launch content drop in a series planned across the game’s first year. IllFonic is credited with the reveal alongside co-publisher Gun Interactive and partners Compass International Pictures and Further Front; the announcement says IllFonic worked with Trancas International Films, Inc. and Miramax to license new versions of Michael Myers.

What is the Tower Farm map?
The announcement describes a small farming community outside Haddonfield, with worn country roads, cornfields, farmhouses, barns, sheds, farm equipment, hay bales, brush and pumpkin-filled gardens. It also names a lit filling station, a trailer park and a harvest festival setting.

In the announcement’s description of the game’s 1v4 matches, broad roads and open sightlines may make it easier to orient yourself while also leaving Civilians exposed. It suggests ditches as hiding places and sprinting for safety when the moment is right; these are promotional descriptions, not independently tested strategies. IllFonic Chief Creative Officer Jared Gerritzen framed the setting this way: “1978 was only the beginning,” said Jared Gerritzen, Chief Creative Officer, IllFonic. “With the Tower Farm map, we take the terror of that first event in Haddonfield into somewhere wide open, where there’s nowhere to hide except in the dark – where Michael Myers truly comes to life.”
When does the DLC come out?
The announced date for the content drop is October 27, 2026. As of October 7, 2026, that date is still upcoming; it is a scheduled date, not confirmation that the content has launched.

Halloween Daily News separately reports that standard physical editions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series arrive October 6, while the Deluxe Edition and Halloween 5 DLC were set for October 27. The physical base game is not the DLC and is not stated to include these add-ons.

IllFonic’s announcement lists Halloween: The Game for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. It gives announcement-time base-game prices of $39.99 for Digital Standard and $59.99 for Deluxe. Those prices and dates may change, and they do not establish current storefront availability.
