Has Dying Light: The Beast Been Cracked? What Community Reports Say

Community trackers reported a release-day crack for Dying Light: The Beast. Techland did not confirm the claim, and later Borderlands 4 reporting makes the original comparison time-sensitive.

Community piracy trackers reported that Dying Light: The Beast was cracked on its September 18, 2025 launch day. Techland has not confirmed that report, and the available official sources do not establish how any crack was made. The original comparison with Borderlands 4 is now outdated: a community release listing in August 2026 also named that game.

Was Dying Light: The Beast cracked on release day?

Community reporting said a crack for Dying Light: The Beast appeared on September 18, 2025, the game’s launch day. The claim appeared in a CrackWatch post titled “Dying.Light.The.Beast-TENOKE” and on a third-party release-status tracker. These are community reports, not confirmation from Techland or an independent technical audit.

Techland’s official FAQ lists September 18, 2025 as the release date, but does not confirm a crack. The sources available do not establish which protection, if any, was bypassed, how it was done, or whether a particular executable is genuine. The Steam-hosted EULA says the program may use third-party anti-tampering and anti-piracy solutions; that general language does not identify a specific protection used by this game.

Why the Borderlands 4 comparison needs a date

Borderlands 4 launched on September 12, 2025, six days before Dying Light: The Beast, according to 2K. An August 2026 CrackWatch community release listing includes Borderlands 4. That later listing is not publisher confirmation or a technical audit, but it means the headline’s contrast should be understood as a claim about an earlier moment—not as a current status comparison in October 2026.

How The Beast’s release date changed

Techland first announced a delay on July 25, 2025, moving the release to September 19 to allow more polishing. The developers said: “It has always been our goal to make Dying Light: The Beast the best Dying Light game we’ve ever released.” On September 12, the studio announced that the launch would instead move forward to September 18. Techland also said then that more than one million players had secured a copy before launch; that is the studio’s wording, not a reported sales total.

What players should know about the game

Techland’s FAQ describes Dying Light: The Beast as a 40+ hour survival adventure available on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro, and Xbox Series X|S. It supports solo play or co-op with shared progression. Techland says familiarity with Kyle Crane’s original story can enrich the experience but is not essential, and identifies a physical PS5 version.

Restored Land adds a tougher solo option

On March 26, 2026, Techland launched Restored Land as an enhanced edition and free major content update for existing owners. Its solo survival mode makes killed infected and looted items non-respawning and reduces supplies, changing the resource and exploration stakes for players who choose that mode.
