スクウェア・エニックスは2024年6月19日、HD-2D版『ドラゴンクエストIII そして伝説へ…』を同年11月14日に発売すると発表しました。Steam版の発売日は他機種より1日遅い11月15日でした。発表時に「2025年発売」と告知されたHD-2D版『ドラゴンクエストI＆II』も、すでに2025年10月30日に発売済みです。スクウェア・エニックスの発表と公式ストアの発売情報に基づく、発表当時と現在の整理です。
