To unlock more house plots in Heartopia, raise your D.G. Member level until a plot becomes available, then claim it with Gold in the D.G. Member’s Guild plot interface. Reaching the level makes the plot available; it does not automatically purchase it. Because published guides disagree about later unlocks, use the requirement and price shown in your current game.
How to unlock a house plot
- Advance the main story until you have joined the D.G. Member’s Guild. Pocket Tactics says this happens early through main story quests; Guild activities such as daily Resident Requests can earn contribution medals.
- Open your in-game phone and choose D.G. Member’s Guild.
- Open the four-square plot icon to view your plots and current limit.
- Select a plot marked available and pay the displayed Gold amount to claim it. The plot is not yours until you complete this purchase.
These menu labels and icon descriptions come from Pocket Tactics’ guide, updated January 9, 2026. If the interface looks different in your version, follow the live prompt; the Heartopia Community guide warns that interface wording can vary.
Reported D.G. Member level milestones
Pocket Tactics reports the following progression. These are third-party guide figures, not a developer-published table, so check your in-game plot page for the current requirement.

The reported levels describe when plots become available, not when they are automatically added to your home. Pocket Tactics lists these milestones in its January 9, 2026 guide: Heartopia plot unlock guide.

Why plot totals and unlock tables differ
The Heartopia Guide fan site lists milestones at levels 4, 6, 8, 11, 14, and 16, while Pocket Tactics’ table ends at level 14 and reports eight plots. The Heartopia Community guide cautions that published counts and interface terms can conflict by version. These sources do not establish one authoritative late-game total for every current version, so do not assume a static guide’s final number applies to your game.
For the same reason, no plot-by-plot Gold prices can be stated reliably here. The amount shown on the selected plot in your game is the price to use.

What to check when a plot is locked
- Read the plot limit: The top of the Guild plot page shows the current limit, according to Pocket Tactics.
- Check the lock state: Pocket Tactics describes a stationary lock as indicating that you have not met the level requirement, and a shaking lock as indicating that the plot is available to unlock.
- Look for the purchase prompt: If the plot is available, select it and pay the displayed Gold. A level milestone alone does not complete the purchase.
- Trust the live interface over a guide: If icons, wording, or a milestone differ, use the current prompt in your version; published guides note that interface details and reported totals can vary.
How much building space does a plot add?
Pocket Tactics reports that a new home starts with two plots, that the game has eight plots in total, and that each plot measures 8×5. Treat the eight-plot cap and dimensions as figures from that guide, not as independently verified specifications for every current version. The guide also says that unlocking plots raises the home’s placement load limit, as well as adding building area.

More plots provide room to expand, but they are not a requirement to begin building. The Heartopia Community guide recommends starting with a footprint that fits the space you currently have, completing the structural shell before decorating, checking movement routes, and leaving room for later additions. These are building-planning suggestions, not conditions for unlocking a plot.
