As of October 16, 2026, only iOS and Android have been announced, the game remained in preregistration, and no launch date had been published. There was no official store listing from which to install the finished game.
Storage requirements, minimum operating-system versions, device specifications, controller compatibility, offline behavior, final languages, regional availability and monetization were also unpublished. The format combines severe battles with quieter daily-life scenes. Voice acting and ASMR functionality are part of the announcement, so the appeal is not limited to automatic combat progression: the game is also built around observing the characters and spending time in their non-combat routines. That means readers could not legitimately install the completed game from an official store on that date. A preregistration page, announcement article or promotional video is not the same thing as a downloadable production build.
What to check before installing
- Look for a live App Store or Google Play product page that identifies the game and its publisher.
- Confirm that the page shows an actual release or install option rather than only a preregistration button.
- Read the listed regional availability, supported OS versions and device compatibility before downloading.
- Use the store page’s developer identity and update history to distinguish an official listing from an unofficial mirror or repackaged app.
Until those conditions are met, files offered through third-party download sites should not be treated as the official game.

There is currently no official figure for the app’s download size or the free storage required after installation. It is therefore not possible to give a responsible “requires X GB” answer. The same limitation applies to update space: no information has established how much temporary room a patch might need.
Other specifications are also pending

- Minimum and recommended operating-system versions.
- Supported device families or processor architecture.
- Whether additional data downloads occur after the first launch.
- Any stated performance, graphics or memory guidance.
The App Store and Google Play entries should be considered the authoritative compatibility references once they are live. Do not infer requirements from another game using the same engine, from screenshots, or from the fact that this title is described as an idle RPG.

Controller compatibility has not been announced. The available information does not establish support for Bluetooth pads, wired controllers, platform-specific gamepads or console-style input. It also does not say whether a controller would work only in battles or throughout menus and daily-life scenes.
An idle-RPG label cannot answer that question. Some mobile games are designed entirely for touch input; others add partial controller support later. Until an official listing or in-game documentation names supported controllers, plan on touch controls and regard any controller connection as unconfirmed.
If controller support is important to you, check the store description and the game’s help or settings documentation after release. A listing that merely mentions external-device compatibility without identifying supported input standards may still leave important limitations unresolved.
Can you play offline?
Offline play has not been documented. The available announcement does not explain whether the app can start without a connection, whether battles continue while disconnected, or whether idle rewards accumulate and are awarded later.

- Whether an internet connection is required at launch or only for account checks.
- How the game handles interrupted connections during battles or scene playback.

The monetization model was also unannounced. There is no confirmed information about gacha or random draws, subscriptions, advertising, paid currency, one-time purchase pricing or other paid items. Avoid assuming that an idle RPG follows any particular revenue model; the store disclosure and the game’s terms will provide the first reliable answer.

The cat perspective is more than a cosmetic detail in the announcement: it defines how the player is positioned in the world. The announced feature set contains four identifiable elements:
- Idle-RPG progression: the game is designed around ongoing progression associated with the idle genre, although its exact timers and reward rules are not public.
- Severe battles: combat is part of the core presentation, but no battle system or control scheme has been detailed.
- Daily-life scenes: quieter character moments contrast with the combat sections.
- Voice and ASMR functionality: the announcement specifically calls out spoken performances and ASMR features.

Good Smile’s official shop lists Heavily Armed High School Girls figure merchandise. Those figures are related to neco’s character project, but they are physical collectibles and not the smartphone game. Buying a figure does not provide game access, preregistration benefits or an account for JJK: Jū Heisōgata Joshikōsei Wordless Record.
Keep the two product categories separate when searching: the franchise merchandise can be available even while the mobile RPG remains unreleased.
How future updates should be evaluated

- Connection requirements, offline rewards and behavior during interruptions.
- Interface text, subtitles and voice languages.

- Actual launch availability rather than preregistration alone.
Those details will determine whether the game fits a particular phone, travel routine, language preference or control setup. Until they are published, the only firm platform answer remains iOS and Android, and the only firm timing answer is that the game was still unreleased and in preregistration on October 16, 2026.
