A submarine trapped beneath the Norwegian Sea
The game is set in an alternate-history version of late-1970s Sweden. The player is stranded aboard the fictional submarine HMS Domherren, deep beneath the Norwegian Sea, after an incident involving a substance known as Sludge.

Sludge has possessed members of the crew and transformed them into zombies. The immediate goals are to locate any survivors and investigate what caused the disaster. Every bullet is a resource
Ammunition is intentionally scarce. The official feature description warns that “every bullet counts, and you will never have enough,” making combat a matter of prioritization rather than a default solution. Investigation without handholding
The game emphasizes searching the submarine and piecing together the incident rather than following constant objective markers. Its design description highlights fixed cameras, real tension and “no handholding,” so progress is expected to come from observing rooms, testing items and working out where each clue belongs.
Characters, atmosphere and visual style
Survivors include the enigmatic Milton and Captain Olof, described as a nihilistic figure whose agenda makes cooperation uncertain. Their conflicting motives add a human layer to the outbreak: finding another survivor does not automatically mean finding a trustworthy ally.

Visually, the game reworks vibrant late-1990s horror and adventure-game backdrops with modern rendering technology.
