Hell Is Us launched on September 4, 2025. Deluxe Edition owners received an earlier unlock on September 1, 2025. Nacon’s scheduled launch times differed by platform: 10:00 a.m. UTC+2 on consoles and 6:00 p.m. UTC+2 on PC. Those dates have passed, so these are historical launch details, not upcoming access dates.
When did Hell Is Us release?
The Standard Edition of Hell Is Us released on September 4, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Nacon’s support FAQ gives the release date and scheduled platform times; PlayStation and Xbox listings also show September 4, 2025, for their respective consoles.

Nacon announced PC availability through Steam and the Epic Games Store, alongside PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. It also announced GeForce NOW availability at launch, allowing owners of the game to play through the cloud service. See Nacon’s August 2025 announcement.

The times above are the publisher’s scheduled times, not a conversion for every local time zone. Nacon’s FAQ is the source for both the dates and platform-specific schedule.
How did Deluxe Early Unlock differ from Standard Edition?
Early Unlock was a launch-period benefit attached to the Deluxe Edition: it let buyers start three days before the Standard Edition date. It does not describe a current early-access offer.

Nacon’s game page describes Deluxe Edition contents as the base game, character and drone appearance packs, a secret-code add-on, a digital artbook, and the original soundtrack. These are edition contents; the earlier date was the separate timing benefit. Xbox’s Deluxe Edition listing also identifies Deluxe add-ons.

Hell Is Us is a third-person action-adventure built around melee combat and exploration. Xbox lists it as single-player, and Nacon’s FAQ says the game has no multiplayer or cooperative mode.

Its approach to exploration is deliberately hands-off. In a September 24, 2024, PlayStation Blog post, Creative Director and Art Director Jonathan Jacques-Belletête said: “Unlike many modern games that guide players with detailed maps, quest markers, quest journals, and constant assistance, we’ve chosen to eliminate these traditional aids altogether.”
