When did Hell Let Loose: Vietnam release?
The release date changed from the original schedule. Team17 and Expression Games announced a digital launch planned for June 18, 2026, with physical editions for PS5 and Xbox Series X scheduled for August 4. Those dates were plans, not the final release date: Microsoft’s Xbox listing gives August 13, 2026, and Team17 published an “Out Now” post that day.

Check the updated date against the Xbox store listing and the publisher’s August 13 launch post. The June and August 4 dates appear in the original announcement.

Team17 and Expression Games describe the game as 50-versus-50 combat across six large-scale maps, with communication and teamwork central to play. Their announcement highlights weapons and vehicles, US aerial units, NVA forces, and patrol boats on Vietnam’s river network. These are publisher descriptions, not independent findings about performance or gameplay quality.

Microsoft’s Xbox product listing gives additional detail: two factions, the North Vietnamese Army and US Armed Forces, and 17 roles spanning command, infantry, reconnaissance, armour, helicopter, and mortar units. It also describes NVA tunnel networks, helicopters and patrol boats, swimming, climbing, fast crawling, and the ability to drag players. The listed modes include Warfare and Offensive.
