When did Helldivers 2 come out on Xbox?
Helldivers 2 arrived on Xbox Series X|S on August 26, 2025. Xbox Wire announced the date on July 3, 2025, and the Xbox Store lists the same release date. Xbox Wire’s launch announcement also said the Xbox version supports cross-play with the game’s other platforms.
Is the Halo: ODST Warbond available on Xbox?
Yes. The Halo: ODST Legendary Warbond released on August 26, 2025, the same day as the Xbox launch, and was not an Xbox-exclusive crossover. Xbox Wire described cross-play as available across platforms. Helldivers 2 is an online co-op game for up to four players; the PlayStation game page also describes joining with up to three friends. PlayStation’s official game page lists PS5, PC, and Xbox support.
What is in the Helldivers 2 Halo: ODST crossover?
The crossover is one optional Legendary Warbond, a collection of unlockable in-game rewards. Xbox Wire’s Warbond announcement lists the following contents:

- Fight in epic 50 vs 50 multiplayer battles.
- 9 maps with more added frequently - land at Omaha Beach, fight through Carentan and into the frozen forests of Foy before climbing Hill 400.

- Play and master one or many of 14 unique roles, including: Officer, Medic, Machinegunner, Commander, Crewman, Sniper and more.
- Constantly updated with new maps, weapons, features and fixes.
- Weapons: MA5C Assault Rifle, M7S SMG, M90A Shotgun, and M6C/SOCOM Pistol.
- Armor: A-9 Helljumper and A-35 Recon sets, with the Feet First armor passive.
- Cosmetics and extras: two capes, player cards, the “Rookie” title, and a Mean Green vehicle pattern.
These are listed as contents of the Warbond; the announcement does not describe each item as a separate purchase.
How do you unlock the ODST Warbond?
The Halo: ODST Legendary Warbond costs 1,500 Super Credits. Xbox Wire says Super Credits can be found in-game or purchased separately. Warbonds are optional reward collections and do not expire, but this Legendary Warbond cannot be unlocked with a Premium Warbond Token.

Can the Super Citizen Edition token unlock the ODST Warbond?
No. Xbox’s Super Citizen Edition listing describes a digital bundle with the base game, specified armor, cape and weapon items, Super Citizen status, Stratagem Hero, and one Premium Warbond Token. The ODST Warbond announcement explicitly excludes Legendary Warbonds from token unlocks, so that included token does not replace the 1,500 Super Credits required for this crossover. The bundle’s listing is at the Xbox Store; its displayed price and sale status can vary.

Xbox console online multiplayer requires a qualifying subscription, sold separately. The Xbox Store listing names Game Pass Core or Ultimate; check the current listing for up-to-date plan names and availability. In-game purchases are optional, and the ODST Warbond is separate from the base game and Super Citizen Edition extras.
