The Chemical Agents Premium Warbond is Helldivers 2’s gas-themed equipment and cosmetics collection. Arrowhead announced it on September 12, 2024, with a September 19, 2024 release date. Its listed gear includes the TX-41 Sterilizer, AX/TX-13 Guard Dog Dog Breath, and G-4 Gas Grenade; a regional official announcement also lists the P-11 Stim Pistol. Arrowhead framed gas as crowd control, not as a published ranking of the weapons’ current strength.
What is in the Chemical Agents Warbond?
Arrowhead’s announcement describes a mix of gas-focused gear, armor, and cosmetic items. The German-language official post names the AX/TX-13 Guard Dog Dog Breath and G-4 Gas Grenade; the Spanish-language official announcement lists the P-11 Stim Pistol and further details the armor and cosmetics. Exact item localization may differ by language.

The official announcement does not provide comparative combat statistics for these items. It establishes their intended themes and roles, not damage, range, duration, a strongest weapon, or an optimal build.
How Arrowhead described the gas-control design
Arrowhead’s stated rationale was that gas is a crowd-control tool, so the designers chose to add stratagem variants while leaving players free to pick their preferred primary weapon. That explains the direction of the Warbond’s design; it is not evidence that the gear performs a particular way in current balance or that it is effective in every mission.

The Advanced Filtration armor passive was described as providing resistance to gas clouds, including the cloud from the Orbital Gas Strike. This is a fictional in-game effect, not real-world protective equipment.
When it was announced and how to unlock Warbonds
Arrowhead community manager Katherine Baskin announced Chemical Agents on September 12, 2024, and said it was scheduled to arrive September 19, 2024. Those dates are historical. PlayStation’s current Warbond catalog lists Chemical Agents among Helldivers 2 Premium Warbonds.

PlayStation’s unlock note says Warbonds require the base game, paid purchase of Super Credits, and game progression. The note does not establish a current standalone cash price for Chemical Agents. Check the in-game or official catalog for current access and purchase details.
